Remotely disabling DSAce logging - Kauket - 02-15-2016 Basically, I need a way to disable DsAce logging on my test Freelancer - because for some reason, it started to override my main one and delete the /entire/ log I had with my actual disco, which it didn't do in the past for some reason - only to further annoy me to know that I lost RP data. And no - you can't use launchpad to turn it off. It bases off the preferences in your userfolder, thus turning it off for my main FL too. I would suppose I have to edit something in DSAce.dll but I don't know what program to decompile it with. RE: Remotely disabling DSAce logging - Findarato Veneanar - 02-15-2016 Could just manually backup the logs. RE: Remotely disabling DSAce logging - Kauket - 02-15-2016 I could. But there's also a thing called laziness and being forgetful. But I already lost the logs that I wanted so - uh - future precaution. RE: Remotely disabling DSAce logging - Alley - 02-15-2016 add -logchat -logappend to your shortcut and you won't lose your logs RE: Remotely disabling DSAce logging - The Savage - 02-15-2016 Joining under DSAce thread, with a bit different subject. What about creating separate log files with its own date, instead of keeping one that can rise up to a size of several dozen megabytes? RE: Remotely disabling DSAce logging - Alley - 02-15-2016 that can be done. |
