ATKA, SIGMA-17 - The new nanodrug that will be manufactured by a Cryer Pharmaceuticals subsidiary Wisp Innovations was announced earlier today. The scientists working for the company in cooperation with Ageira engineers as well as several independent science foundations have engineered a drug that will, allegedly, allow for "computer interfacing of human brain".

"In layman terms," we hear from one of the Wisp scientists here on Atka, "this means you could do a lot of the tasks you would do on your computer comfortably lying in your bed instead." Of course, it is a little bit more complicated than that. Wisp Innovations claim that the software running their new project - dubbed Vergil - is going to be released open-source, meaning that other programmers and software engineers will be able to fix its flaws and eventually create more efficient versions of it.

"We want to make it as accessible as possible," we hear from the Wisp Innovations spokeswoman. "This technology uses affordable materials and should be easily acquired by anyone once it hits the market. We hope to make people's lives better."

No more details have been revealed at this point and the current state of the project is bound by many strict no-disclosure agreements. The new product is scheduled to hit the market in the upcoming months. ∎
