Is Trent Dead in Disco Lore? - Lythrilux - 03-02-2016
Is Edison Trent, the titular character of the singeplayer campaign, still alive? I had heard that supposedly he went exploring in Iota and got blasted by the K'Hara.
In my opinion it'd suck to close his chapter. Would be much better to leave it open ended and ambiguous.

As far as I know, he is still alive, Jun'ko is alive and Orillion is missing in action.

Zelot, their RP Trent went to the nomad city in Newcastle, it went active and he vanished (AKA the player left discovery). Orillian is officially KIA actually, kinda both, its confusing. Officially, he's KIA lore wise.

I guess we should treat Trent as "missing". He most probably somehow got hold of that mystical sum of credits - One million credits! -and retired on Curcao or some other Orbital Spa resort. There he is, on a deserted black sand beach, listening to some chilly song, lying on a deckchair, sipping a sidewinder's fang as the whatever sun he's looking at slowly sets into the just barely moving sea.
Anyhow, I've never been a fan of people RP-ing vanilla characters. I know some are really pro RP-ers and have wonderful ideas/storytelling abilities - Fletcher included - but still it's better to leave some things ambiguous.
Edit: Didn't Seth Karlo also have something to do with Trent? Or is it just my memory playing tricks. Perhaps he made a signature for Fletcher or something.
