Well m'lads, i was journeying from Omicron Beta to Sigma 19, when no sooner do i get through the JH than i explode. and up pops suicide message.
however i give it another go through and same thing happens. i cant afford to run cargo when it blows up through a JH, anyone heard of this happening?

Nope, I witnessed some randomly die while waiting for a Battleslot to start. Apparently its been an ongoing probably that sprang up back in August.

Lag is causing what would be know in our logs, as an 'F1 jumphack' ... You get kicked for it, and unfortunately
it shows up as a cheat. What happens from Beta to Sigma 19 though, is it puts you in the sun. Something I
can personally remember from the days when we used to use it.
Now that move is considered as use of F1 in space, and will be punished if players are caught using it to avoid
any roleplay situation.

It also can happen when you are formed on someone. I don't know if these two are related or not, but just be warned.

Im mildly confused, i didnt attempt to 'jumphack'
as for avoidng roleplay, ask any fine lad or lass about the server and they can vouch for my wholeheartedness in that task
so, basically ride the ion storm out in beta skipper and wait for clear skies at dawn to attempt a trip to the sigmas?

JH are to unstable for transports or larger. i think using a fighter with appropriate jump drive is fine.
