I was wondering if it was possible to add embed audio links on the forums like we do to youtube videos, which people could use in their posts to show a music or something, or even using a music as part of their roleplay text. Unfortunately, it seems it's not the case.
More specifically, I was looking of a way to maybe incorporate something like this (YouTube Audio Player), or soundcloud (BB code implementation?) and have it show as a play button on the post, instead of having either a large youtube window or the link to the website in question.
Would like to ask if:
- It's technically feasible?
- Is it interesting to the community to have such tools?
- Does the administration feel interest in adding this?

Having an embedded youtube player that's not from youtube is very likely to break in the future. Soundcloud seems good though yes please

i was thinking something similar, or it might not be, but anyway
something along the lines of as you read a certain part of a post, a smallish icon to click on that might play a sound/audio file, to enhance what was being said

I'll look at adding the SoundCloud API into MyCode at some point soon. That certainly sounds feasible, it all just comes down to finding a frame which would look nice on the forums. Some of them are ugly boxes. The link above 'might' look descent. I'll figure something out within the day.

YES PLS!!! Because webm, not everyone can listen to webm. I once did it with webm scaled it down so you had only audioplayer bar but unfortunately not all Browser support it.
