We at EFL Oil & Machinery have been interested in expanding our sphere of operations into Sirius, and Rheinland presents one of the finest markets for us to expand in. We would be more than willing to assist you in transporting a sufficient amount of petroleum for your needs, however we welcome your offer to renegotiate the deal offered. We present to you the following conditions which we would see as favorable, along with justification:

1) In addition to the original price of $2000 per barrel of oil, we would request a bonus of $3000 per barrel. You must understand that we are emerging from the heart of Gallia and then crossing through the pirate-infested Taus, the civil war-afflicted Republic of Kusari, and the treacherous Sigmas in order to reach the Bundesrepublik. First of all i would like to thank you for your patience. Sometimes those conferences takes a lot of time and we finally reached a conclusion. The members of the board does not agree on the price you offered mien frau so they gave me a counter offer which is as follows. The installation will accept your Oil barrels for 2,500 credits and will provide either uncut diamonds or silver ores or both for your vessels to haul on the way back. If you can find this price reasonable then we shall continue with our deal and if you find this price not reasonable then i am afraid we have to terminate this contract for now and later we can establish a better contract. While we are somewhat disappointed with the lowering of this proposed price, especially given the exchange rate between the Sirian Credit and the Gallic Franc and the danger of the route we would take to arrive at your station, we here at EFL value the establishment of a foundation for a prosperous and beneficial future business relationship more than any substantial, short-term monetary gain. As such, we accept this humbling contract. You may expect our transports to be setting course for Rheinland within the hour. We would look favorably upon future business deals and possible renegotiation of contracts should the conditions permit and require them.

We sincerely apologize for the delay that has occurred in our informing you of the status of our deal. Interns shall be dealt with this, I assure you.

The oil in question was successfully delivered, though we lack photographic evidence due to damage sustained to those records during multiple pirate attacks in the Sigmas. We were not able to deliver all ores to Gallia due to repeated attacks by these pirates on our transports.

Our relationship with Rheinland corporations is currently strained by these entities. If we cannot protect our assets, we may be forced to consider other markets for trade.
