Hello,
I have recently been looking at stats for destroyer/cruisers and when i looked on the rhienland cruiser it said at the bottom of the discovery wiki page: sale banned by RM. Whats up with that? I heard that in 4.83 there were alot of people who used that ship so then they stopped people from buying them. I have been interested in buying a rhienland cruiser for quite some time (i did not know it was the best house cruiser at this time) because i have wanted a lawful cruiser in one of the houses. Firstly i had bought a Liberty Cruiser, but i did not like it and the ban on LNS ships set forth by the admirals didn't help, so i had sold it. Then i deciced "Hey why not Rhienland, i like rhienland it's a good place".
My question is this, if someone can role-play properly in a Rhienland Cruiser and give a role-play story for why he has the cruiser, can he have it? Because i really want a rhienland cruiser (infact i have made a new character RNC-Sterbefall and the money's on it and it's in Texas atm, but thats not the point), so if i give a proper role-play towards it and not use ooc in system chat at all can i buy one?

Because the RM RP as all of the Rheinland Military. The 3 GrossAdmirals would have given approval for a new cruiser to be comissioned and installed the captain themselves. Anybody captaining a Rheinland vessel without their approval is considered to have stolen the ship.

Shep. I said a few times how easy it is to get onto the approved list of caps in liberty, all you have to do is send a short RP (certainly doesn't have to be a master-work, just a little bio for the captain will do) then you'll get put on the week long trial period to see if you're the type to go running after a lone fighter with your cap.
If you do do that kind of thing, and respect other's gameplay then you'll be approved.

I did have a Liberty Cruiser a couple of days ago (which has now been deleted and sold for cash) but i didn't like it much. I didn't like the forward gun and i just didn't like the basic feel of the ship. Well i have sent a private message to Kane about requesting one (he's a rhienland admiral) but now i'm thinking about a Liberty Assault Battlecruiser, i've used it before and it's a good ship, better then a cruiser but not as big as a battleship.
Edit: yeah i think i'll save up for a liberty assault battlecruiser, i'll send you a short discription of it now Joe.
Edit2: Possibly both, see if i can be bothered to make that much.

Just because the RM banned it's purchase doesn't mean you can't purchase it. It's just one of those RP barriers you have to break through with RP.
Go ahed and buy it but be sure to have some unhappy rheinlanders after you for the cruiser you "stole"

thats why i've asked Kane for permission.
I don't want to go around and have RM members going "Oi! you stole our ship!!" i'd rather ask first.
