The RM Faction has re-applied for officialdom, but it was due to Flash leaving and Nifty went away with FL there was no leader to take charge and keep the faction activie. So sadly they lost there officialdom after being one of the longest running factions in disco

What a mess and low blow to hit a guy while he is down?
Yeh sure they have these FSRs now but the under old regime this would never of happened as I know RM are a very active faction.
Another thing I have noticed from the sidelines is the upsurge of new players joining the forum then somehow gaining control of a long standing faction with years of presence when they themselves have only 1 - 2 years experience, how did that happen? No offense but inexperienced leaders are a sure fire way to burn the house down
Are all the vets gone now?

I'm playing disco now 3 years when you mean me, and this is not my main forum account. I leaded RHA 3 months after aerelm left disco and rescued it for the disband.

If you want only veterans to lead, then there would have been absolutely no factions to start with, because everyone stared fresh and experience was gained with time.
Even one month old player can be more reasonable and sensible than a 5 year veteran.

Lot of factions flourish or die depending on activity of their leaders. Now it happened to RM, fortunately there are people who now work to bring it back fully and don´t let it die. If things will go well, it will be like with IC or GMG. They used to be an essential part of official factions, yet they died last year. Then new people brought them back and now they work perfectly again.

Factions dies simply because their leaders decrease their activities but still don't transfer the seat of leadership to another active new members.
How many clans/factions/groups on discovery formed of a leader and maybe 2 or 3 more members ? How many inactive leaders leaving their factions dying behind and do nothing?
I see a lot .. some of them factions even mentioned on the previous reply. I think it's time for those inactive leaders to step aside and let someone else lead the group actively
I took a look at the FSRs and i was shocked to see tons of factions without a single RP link supporting what they do in-game
Sadly, they are lawful, unlawful and quasi lawful factions which are very important for the lore survival and continuation but .... they are so inactive.

They can always apply again for official.
