unfortunately i do not know much about it. all i've heard is that it is a new stargate game, but i have no idea what it's about. But from screenshots i've seen it looks like you fight the Goa'uld.

Okay, i know quite abit about this one (i read most of the website about a month ago) so ill give a basic rundown
play style- kinda like a mix between fps and mmorpg
sides- 2 (asgard/humans/jaffa vs opfor (bad humans) new mind (new faction of goauld) and jaffa)
Good Classes- Asgard (uses drones)
Archeologist (all the stuff daniel jackson does in the tv show)
Scientist (all the stuff Samantha Does)
Soldier (all the stuff oneill does)
Jaffa (Free jaffa, uses Tretonin instead of a symbiote)
Evil Classes-
Archaeologist, Scientist and Soldier +
Goa'uld (like all classes, has 3 skill trees, being
Ashak (stealthy assassin)
Battle (wtfpawnz lols goauld)
Pet (can summon servants (jaffas, servants) into battle)
Jaffa (with symbiote)
Game mechanics- fps style fighting, teamwork, tactics, cover, exploration, grabbing stuff from ruins and from alien/enemy technology and using it to upgrade your stuff/make new stuff, "commands" (read as player guilds)
1st expansion is planned to bring Stargate: Atlantis into play
2nd expansion is speculated to bring spaceships into the game

To be honest, if it's gonna be an MMORPG, it's gonna fail. Horribly. Such games should be RPG with SP for say, the xbox or PC. Not annother "omg lol i pwnt u u feekin n00b"-PG.
But that's just me anyway.

If they can get good clan/guild/faction based combat going, better than WAR say, then it will be able to hold it's own up with the others. Otherwise, it appealls to a smaller crowd than WoW or WAR.
Still, I'm going to be a Goa'uld. Enjoy being my pet please:rolleyes:
