Meme Names - Antonio - 04-06-2016 This has been discussed in multiple threads before (latest one), and even though most of the people agreed that the amount of meme / ooRP names on the server is too high no one bothered to change their ships or tell others to do the same, so we got back to the old state. Someone mentioned it in the OFL chat yesterday and it got me wondering why nothing was done about it that'd force people to rename those ships. It's been going on for so long that it's time the admins start forcing the changes via rules and sanctions. Introducing a new official rule or clarifying the current one would be a good place to start. Another one is increasing the restart price, but that'd introduce a new problem which is renaming ships with a password protected tag. I'm sure there are other solutions, which is why I'm asking you guys. tl;dr no more John.Cena, meem420, Poop.Torpedo, NOMAD_GENERAL_ALIEN, Milfbuster and so on. RE: Meme Names - SnakThree - 04-06-2016 Have you reported any of those names for the staff to see? RE: Meme Names - The Core - 04-06-2016 Would be great if the admins could do a purge of some sort I guess. Click on Player Utilities - Player Status. 3. Look through the names. You'll find at least 20% of them to be meme/oorp. If you can bother with reporting so much players, be my guest. I certainly won't. RE: Meme Names - SnakThree - 04-06-2016 (04-06-2016, 02:35 PM)Antonio Wrote:(04-06-2016, 02:33 PM)Snak3 Wrote: Have you reported any of those names for the staff to see? Reported one. 30 minutes later staff processed it. Staff is doing good job, if you are cooperative yourself. If you can't be bothered to be helpful the right way, then shouting at air will do no good. |
