Lately I've just been wondering...
I RARELY/never report anyone. I may have done it twice in my whole Disco career. I haven't had many people break the rules around me, and if they do, I just give them a friendly reminder and send them on their way.

Serious rules, or when I see people repeat it.. Other than that I just tell the person what rule he is breaking and what he should do to fix it. No point in sanctioning them when all it takes is a word or two.

Traditionally I only file a report after the possibility of re-education has been exhausted.

I dont even bother really.
If i see something bad, i poke in pm, if they start doing something stupid, like a cruiser starting to shoot starflies near manhattan, i simply dock at an appropriate base and go prat around my own server.
Since most rules are pvp related, i simply cannot be bothered, just like many i know. Rp is rp, if there is someone braking them, its Pvp. No rp where Pvp is, thus i have no reason to be there.
But it depends, i have made three reports as such, yet since none ever showed up...
I didnt see it, i dont care.

I think i've filed around... 2? sanctions the whole time ive been here - and both of those i tried to clear up in game.
Sanctioning has got to the point where people are paranoid of it i think - the amount of times ive seen people start doing "//oh i didnt cruise" - or "//How was that not OORP" "//i've got screenshots" - in system chat around and after pvp is crazy.
I think people are a little sanction-happy at times...
Edit - i have to say, i've never reported it, but i hate "lols" and smilies in system chat...

I've only reported a few times. A couple for truly egregious errors such as weapon or speed modding and other times under factional requests.
Generally I try to talk to people and not report them unless all of my mates agree it needs reporting.
The only time I was ever reported was for good reasons and I appreciate that. I can only hope others are treated the same.

I have never reported before, really I would only report someone if they broke a PvP rule against such as re-engagement or something worse, or if I saw them using a cheat and still it rarely happens.

I WILL NOT report any lols or XD's.
Those are BS rules in my opinon, so thats why. I dont report cussing too, in group chat me and my friends do it a TON.
