ROGUE HISTORY

RE-ESTABLISHMENT OF THE ROGUES

Addic

Tori was happy to discover that not only was he on her side; but he also had a number of loyal pilots willing to follow him, as well as being able to assist in resolving the Sirius Rogues problems with a station to base out of; and the means to fund this. She later learnt this was due to a deal he had made with the Junker Congress for the return of the Arbiter - James Trenton. Addic's only stipulation was to be allowed to use the Color Rogue patch as his secondary, Tori was more than willing to agree to this. A combination of the support he was able to offer and their previous relations led her to appoint him the role of Vice President in the Sirius Rogues.

Tori also knew that while having a safe place to call home was important, getting on side with the Junkers was also a priority to secure their future with the Outcasts. With the establishment of Carolina Outpost as a staging area for the Sirius Rogue forces, Puerto Rico can now be considered home. The Junkers had dominated the cardamine trade in Liberty for some time, and it was a concern many Rogue Crime Boss’ and Warlords ha prior to the Sirius Rogues. While the Junkers had been distributing cardamine throughout Liberty, the Rogues were all but an expendable force to them. The Sirius Rogues knew that; they also knew it was time for the Sirius Rogues to establish their own economy. Eventually a deal would need to be made with the Junkers of Puerto Rico, known as Junker Congress. First, these Junkers would need to see a show of force, not just to put them under thumb, but to force them to recognize the Rogues as power in Puerto Rico.

Once they had a secure home and number of pilots on board, the Sirius Rogues intend to contact other known allies and friends to re-establish relations, re-open trade opportunities and capitalize on black market ventures. This was one thing had remained true to previous Rogue groups, they did not consider themselves to be pirates. While they were largely unorganized in their dealings in organized crime, they saw themselves to have more class than that of the traditional pirates in across Sirius. The Sirius Rogues utilize piracy not as a form of commerce, but to disrupt business within Liberty.

Shortly after the establishment of the Sirius Rogues Tori disappeared. Her current whereabouts are unknown. With Moka imprisoned under the Liberty Police the Sirius Rogues had no one else to turn to. In order to keep the group focused on their goals Addic stepped up to the position of President. His natural leadership abilities and unrelenting hatred of the Liberty Government made him perfect for the position. A great injustice has been done to the Rogues and Addic capitalizes on this fact with the younger generation of Rogues. Addic has a nearly unnatural persuasive personality, often influencing the younger Rogues. They are so dedicated to him that at times they hold him in near reverence. His vision for the Rogues is one of equality, where a man cannot be labeled a criminal because of what caste of people he was born to.  Addic and his followers will do whatever must be done to see this vision to it’s reality. In their eyes, the means always justify the ends.

As with all Liberty Rogues and their Outcast cousins, many of the Sirius Rogues are also addicted to Cardamine. As it has now become a necessity for most Rogues the transportation, use, and distribution of Cardamine is a fully acceptable practice for any Rogue. While Cardamine gives most Rogues a form of currency, Addic has much larger plans. In order to fund the war against their oppressors, Sirius Rogues have entered the arms trading market. Often times Sirius Rogues can been seen transporting Black Market Munitions, Armaments, and Black Market Light Arms. This push into the arms trade has given the Sirius Rogues a stable income and the weapons needed fuel the fight.

EXPANDING ROGUE INFLUENCE

Now that the Junkers in Puerto Rico are under thumb, a form of commerce has been established, and Sirius Rogues have a stockpile of ammo they are ready to start the fight. While Puerto Rico can be called a home it is time for the Sirius Rogues to expand. The focus will be on their former home and it’s surrounding areas. Cassini calls, friends in Kusari need help, and the Kepler/Galileo systems are nearly undefended.

THE NEW CODE OF CONDUCT

  1. A Rogue must never engage another Rogue in combat unless said Rogue is a proven traitor or if it is a duel both parties have agreed to.
  2. A Rogue must never engage against an ally of the Rogues (For the purpose of this document allies are defined as Outcasts, Lane Hackers, Unioners, Molly, or Red Hessian) unless it is in the defense of oneself or another Rogue.
  3. Rogues are encouraged to pirate the Corporate Dogs of Liberty.  Cargo demands are prefered, however, if no transport is available to haul the cargo a monetary demand is acceptable.  The monetary demand should coincide with the amount of cargo being hauled, not the value of the commodity being hauled.  For transports hauling under 1,000 units a demand of 500,000 Sirius Credits is appropriate.  Transports hauling over 1,000 units a demand of 1,000,000 Sirius Credits per 1,000 units is appropriate (IE if the transport is hauling 5,000 units, the demand would be 5,000,000 Sirius Credits, or if the transport is hauling 2,500 units, the demand would be 2,500,000 Sirius Credits).  OORP: We don’t want to get greedy.  Piracy should be done in such a way that it promotes further interaction with the traders.
  4. A Rogue does not pirate traders doing business with Rogue stations.
  5. Any vessel importing Cardamine or exporting Slaves will not be pirated, however, donations for the cause can be asked of the Captains of those vessels.  Failure to donate may cause misfires of Rogue weapon systems.
  6. Junkers should not be pirated, instead a donation to the cause should be requested.  Once again, failure to donate may cause misfires of Rogue weapon systems.

CHAPTERS

The intention is to create unity among Rogues, which means we are open to absorbing existing groups. However we do not wish to take away from the time and work put into these.

We will be running a "chapter" system where those who join - while flying under our call sign - will have the opportunity to keep their group as is - including keeping their tag as a suffix to their name. Recruitment, leadership and names will remain as it was for that group unless it is agreed to be changed.

Any communications directed to this chapter will be this chapters responsibility - as will recruitment and maintenance of assets unless otherwise discussed.

This will allow for each group to continue on with what has already been in play with the additional support and backing of a larger force.

Business deals and large decisions can still be made for each individual chapter, but will be discussed among leadership before being set in motion.

RE: Sirius Rogues - sindroms - 04-12-2016

Hey there, glad to see that particular niche being filled up by another potential faction.

My only suggestion is that you try your best not to represent the whole of the Rogues - that was the biggest mistake I saw with the old LR-. Trying to ''absorb'' other groups and bring them into one clump would remove the diversity of roleplay the ID would otherwise allow. - Though in the end it all depends on how you decide to handle it.

Rogues in general are a group with very many bases, each with their own slightly differing contacts in the area, after all. And while the comparison I would hesitate to make - they are kinda like Zoners in that regard. Anyway, I am very interested where this goes and I hope you guys end up giving us a good replacement for the old LR.

One thing though, House Corps aren't really ''hostile'' to you per se. Neither are the Red Hessians, since some of them still fly our tech (For one reason or another). Anyway, the best of luck!

EDIT: Also, the Hyena is now a Light bomber (and a very damn good one).

For now I'd put GC as unfriendly(blame @sindroms), but it can be neutral after some nice interactions or comms.

As for the writeup in general, seems to be alright at the first look. Sirian Rouges is a bit too global name, but that's the matter of taste. Anyways good luck to you, Liberty definantly needs some more rouge activity.

It probably wasnt explained well here, I will look into re-wording things over the next few days, but it's more bringing them together under one tag. It's not forced, and I believe the colours are staying separate - which I am more than happy with because it does give that variety.

Leadership of the groups would stay the same, essentially do the same things they were before, with a larger backing and the means for support if it ever came to it. It is primarily directed at smaller groups which have perhaps fallen off the radar or lost activity, but still wish to fly as Rogue with a group.

I did have something to help explain this.... But it seems to have been lost in the depths of my computer. I do understand what you are saying, and I have seen it happen. I will be keeping a very close eye on this.

Whoops, I thought I changed that before posting. Thank you.

Again, thank you. That should be fixed now too.

Done. I wasn't aware that was the case - but thank you for that.
