Kuroshio series
A series of encounters and operations pitting the various criminal and semi-lawful organizations of Kusari against each other.

May 7th: Ambush at Okinawa
When: Saturday, May 7th, 19:30h server time (This Event has been postponed.)
Where: Okinawa System, Sector 6G - (Neaar the Sigma-19 gate area)
Who: Golden Chrysanthemums and Junkers and GMG versus Hogosha and Farmer alliance

What is it: The Golden Chrysanthemums, in collaboration with pilots from the Junkers, are finishing preparations of a convoy that will transport goods to trade with the Outcasts. Having acquired from the Gas Miners Guild (or stolen from other sources), the convoy is filled with fuel and other important industrial commodities from the House space, and the GC are taking extra measures in making the trip a successful one.
The GC and Junkers send a large security force ahead of the main convoy, in order to clear the path and avoid any GMG patrols that might put too many questions regarding their intentions.
On arriving at the Sigma-19 gate however, they are located by an equally powerful Hogosha and Farmers Alliance raiding party, which was waiting to ambush any GMG convoy that would be travelling to Ogashawa.
Feeling the need to remove the threat to their plans, and pressed by the Junkers to eliminate their competition, the GC force attack the raiders....
Regulations:
1. Standard PvP rules apply.
If you're killed, you're out. No returning to the battle again.
2. No running away from the active battlezone.
Combat is to occur within the block where the gate is (not necessarily on top of the gate.) Once you leave the fight you're forbidden from rejoining. That includes resupplying.
3. Snubs and Gunboats.
All sorts of snubs, including bombers and freighters. All sorts of Gunboats. No transports or larger classes of capital ships.
4. Loadouts
Gunboats are forbidden from using Solaris guns. Use of cloaking devices is also not allowed. Other than that, all weapon loadouts are ok.
5. Keeping it balanced.
Registration of ship name and class is required before the event. To ensure some fairness of numbers, additional slots will be unlocked for both sides should a set number of pilots register for each side.
This is in preparation of future events, and to evaluate possible player participation in those events.

Write down your side and intended ship for use. If open slots for gunboats are taken, you can declare your interest for a future gunboat slot of your side.
Locked vessel slots have to achieve the conditions BEFORE the event proper. If more people than the registered show up, we may not be able to switch one of them to another class on the spot.
