Xeno VHF. WIP - Swallow - 05-19-2016 Xeno VHF https://p3d.in/Nj5fq - 2.1.0 RE: Xeno VHF. WIP - Swallow - 11-10-2016 Xeno VHF is to be worked on each Tuesday. RE: Xeno VHF. WIP, Tue - Swallow - 11-15-2016 https://p3d.in/Nj5fq - 1.0.0 Input please. RE: Xeno VHF. WIP, Tue - Enkidu - 11-15-2016 Has a kingfisher-y look to the engines and a OSC shuttle tone to the body - I like. Problem is it's just slightly too featureless on the underside for me and just a little stubby. Although the more I look at it the more I like the eagle similarities, which works for what you're creating here. RE: Xeno VHF. WIP, Tue - sindroms - 11-15-2016 Imho the style itself does not feel fit for a species of craft that are meant to oprerate in fields. I'd say keep the bars to protect windows, but it probably needs a rear pilot cage thing. Also, if you want to give it a bit xeno-esque features, have it seem a bit damaged, a bit torn. Heck, the texture can have a patch of aviation tape just for the fun of it. Perhaps something with some exposed tubing or mechanics visible. Something sturdier and meant to survive, rather than sleek. RE: Xeno VHF. WIP, Tue - Swallow - 11-15-2016 Right, it has to be tubular, my bad. Completely forgot about fields. RE: Xeno VHF. WIP, Tue - Gulryz - 11-15-2016 Xeno craft should have scary look no fancy RE: Xeno VHF. WIP, Tue - =Hellfire= - 11-15-2016 If I may add my opinion, since it's a fighter, it's cockpit should allow a wider field of view. those bars restrain the view. In asteroid fields where the sensors are jammed, a pilot will need to rely on his eyes. It doesn't matter since nobody uses cockpits but I think keeping the designs plausible and functional is still important. RE: Xeno VHF. WIP, Tue - Swallow - 11-15-2016 In space you need no windows. To start with. Also, please, define "scary" and tell me why should they be? |
