Chronicles of a Civil war - The Empire - Char Aznable - 05-20-2016 Varying times and dates // Will be added for every op seperately //Since a few issues experienced by the {343} in the past, we have decided that every operation that we conduct will be considered an official faction event. This thread will be edited every time we conduct an operation, an hour in advance. This is a temporary solution and will be removed once the circumstances that made it necessary stop. Rules of engagement Exiles objectives: Vary Total Slots: As long as there's no actual big operation going up, slots are free for all allowed participants (see below) These are official events, therefore, FR4 is in effect. Exceptions can be made through conversation. Excluded from the event(s) are the following: KNF indies/unofficial factions KSP indies/unofficial factions GRN indies/unofficial factions Outcast indies/unofficial factions GC indies/unofficial factions Dragon indies / unofficial factions GRP indies/unofficial factions IKN indies/unofficial factions Kempeitai indies/unofficial factions Farmers Alliance indies/unofficial factions Hogosha indies/unofficial factions (excluding HA) Kishiro indies/unofficial factions Samura indies/unofficial factions Freelancers unless agreed on by every party involved Pirate ID RE: Chronicles of a Civil war - The Empire - Shiki - 05-20-2016 Do you consider unofficial factions as indies or? RE: Chronicles of a Civil war - The Empire - Char Aznable - 05-20-2016 Unofficial factions are mentioned in the thread itself. Exceptions can be made here, of course. RE: Chronicles of a Civil war - The Empire - Shiki - 05-20-2016 Why do you excluding your own indies? RE: Chronicles of a Civil war - The Empire - Char Aznable - 05-20-2016 Because there is no reason to exclude one side if you don't do the same to the other. Rules apply for everyone. RE: Chronicles of a Civil war - The Empire - Jack_Henderson - 05-20-2016 There must be better ways than this, but I somewhat understand where it comes from... If you log on and a swarm of different enemies descends on you, it is not a very nice thing. But really... take a step back, and rethink it. Take a good night's rest, and then reassess the situation. good luck Jack RE: Chronicles of a Civil war - The Empire - Shiki - 05-20-2016 I'm not sure if it's legal, because if every official faction can do things like this then ^ IMG| for example can bad unofficial outcasts and pirates from their way. That's a bit odd to be honest. RE: Chronicles of a Civil war - The Empire - Thyrzul - 05-20-2016 To be frank, Char been telling me of the events which led to this for a while now, tonight I got to see what those stories meant exactly. And I feel what he's doing now is understandable and justified. I'd say instead of having "a good night's rest" before rethinking, we could see how it turns out and then reevaluate given the new data.
RE: Chronicles of a Civil war - The Empire - Char Aznable - 05-20-2016 I am not saying that this is a good solution. I am saying that it is a necessary solution. I fully understand the fact that it is problematic and reaching the point where rules are blurry, but the problem reaches a point where harsh actions are necessary. And, as stated: I don't like it either. RE: Chronicles of a Civil war - The Empire - Corile - 05-21-2016 So what you're saying is rather than let your members play the game you're going to put them in a controlled environment and allow only your circle of friends join as the other side? You're gonna call every time you log an 'official event'? If that's not an official faction right abuse then I don't know what is. How about IC or ALG do that and go 'u can't pirate official event'. Like seriously, are those the official faction standards we're trying to set here? I would like an admin to review this approach because it's evidently unfriendly towards other players.
