No... Gunboats and cruisers will suffer. Carrier as it is fare pretty well vs Gunboats and cruisers, giving them thrusters will make them OP beyond words against them

Maybe, if we remove heavy slots from them. Why do you want it though? Secondaries got a huge buff in the last patch which automatically buffed all carriers.

If they get speed that make them faster than BS and slower than Cruisers/BC ( like 110 ) , maybe .

As of the carriers, the "carrier" word is just a part of RP. Ships can't really carry other ships in Disco, at least not currently. Even if they could, that brings no benefit at all. Snubs can easily fly with caps in formation and their fuel is not limited.
I think that carriers should simply be turned into battleships by stats, but retain their "carrier" description for RP purposes.

Carriers are too fat for using thrusters in my opinion

They have 2k range now, up from 1.6k if I'm not mistaken.
