Officer Friendly - Lieutenant Lauren Shaw

Lauren Shaw is a born and raised citizen of the United Kingdom of Bretonia. She studied in the Kingdom of Bretonia all of her youth and college years. Living at home with her grand parents, this was due to her mother and father always away from home due to work. Growing up with her parents gave her experience from years before. This made her have a loyal, respectful personality.

Lauren's mother was a nurse for Orbital Spa and Cruise, and she was working on one of the most beautiful luxury liners. It was expensive to have a holiday onboard but it was worth it.

Lauren's father was a miner for Bretonian Mining and Manufacturing. Was always busy within Dublin mining gold ores for friends, work colleagues and the worst. The Mollys.

She never really knew her parents due to the busy work schedule. It just meant that Lauren would have a better future with the funds for a family and do to what Lauren wanted to do.

Once she finished school, she went to university and left her grandparents at the wrong time. But her grandmother and grandfather passed away only a few months apart. This was a really tough time for the family. When Lauren was accepted into university she thought it was a new start. Something fresh, a new beginning. It was a dream, a wish that she always had but always thought she would not have the qualifications, the funds to get accepted. But she was, moving to her new university in the Cortez System, Planet Curacao.

Once she graduated from University she was just turning Nineteen. This is the age she needed to find a job, and a good future for herself. Doing multi hours of research, on holiday resort camps and hotels. Lauren started working as a waitress for this wonderful, peaceful, beautiful holiday resort. Working as a waitress there for around three years, when it was time for a change. The questions she was asking her self where. "What is out there? What is out in space?"

So she continued to do her research, gathering information and managed to find a school that would teach young people the basic's of flying a shuttle. That is what she wanted, she saved all her wages up to be able to afford to become a pilot like her father.

Finishing the basic flight school, she later applied to become a Liberty Police Inc Officer where she stayed for six months before changing job roles and becoming a Secondary Fleet Liberty Navy Officer. Shortly after she applied to join the 5th Fleet, Liberty Navy where she started at the bottom of the rank structure. Being a recruit, learning different skills, and abilities to survive against the enemy of the Republic. She was later promoted to Ensign.

Lauren was a officer of the 5th Fleet for around 5 months. It didn't last long, she made a total of twenty eight kills and started to feel like she was not respected, appreciated. She started to get frustrated and angered, so that is when her attitude struck. Sort of like a mid life crisis. With her previous family loses. Her emotions got the better of her.

Leaving the 5th Fleet and becoming an enemy of the 5th, she become a Rogue pilot. Well that is what the officers where calling her. A Rogue. Wasn't taking it lightly, this angered her more. Making her pirate the innocent people, killing Navy officers and demanding money from people who where just trying to keep there families alive.

Once of the main reasons Lauren left the 5th Fleet was due to the attitude they gave her, it felt like the Fleet was against women fighting for what they believed it. They where against female pilots. It made her feel like they were sexist against her, because she was a better pilot than them and female. During her lower ranks.

After a few weeks, it was clear that Lauren's attitude, and thought towards the 5th Fleet was revenge. Payback, destruction. This made her think and find new allies. Later joining the Lane Hackers, being able to hack into the communication systems of the Liberty Navy, Liberty Police and the 5th Fleet. She done this to help her and get advantages to prove she was better. She felt like Admiral O'Neill and the other high ranking officers of the 5th Fleet was against equality and diversity, her being the only Female Officer they had.
