All Dunkirk-class vessels carrying a Mortar or a Heavy Mortar turret are recommended to mount it on the starboard side, which is the slot number three.

This will give the turret an arc capable of firing backwards, which is an advantage over the prow slot, number one. Mounting the turret on the starboard side will not only give our ships an advantage in their most common battlefield surroundings, but will also standardize our fleet and allow all ships to turn to the same side when the situation requires it, and continue firing meanwhile.
