FPS Problem (Too high) - Crackling - 06-26-2016

I can't lock my FPS to 60, it goes to 180 instead even with VSync turned on. Is there any way to lock it with something else?

You may try using Bandicam, which allows capping fps to a set amount at any time. Similar software may have same options, but can't say for sure.

Install MSI Afterburner. The Riva Tuner Server that goes with the install will allow you to cap your FPS either globally or individually to 150 FPS, which will give you an advantage over players with capped FPS at 60 due to how the game handles input depending on FPS.

Thanks, but I don't need any advantage. I just want to be able to play without using any other programs. Is there any way to fix VSync?

What's your graphics card? Do you play in window mode?

GTX 650.
I played it for a while, it seems that this mode can cap FPS too, however windowed mode is horrible for me, I don't like playing it.

Never had any problem with usual fullscreen mode before, now it's just broken. Also, capping with Bandicam creates some freezes. Not good too.

I use Dxtory. Most convenient imo

Limiting your FPS in the way that @sindroms described to whatever your monitor refresh rate is works the same way.

I use msi afterburner to cap my FPS to 120. It's always done the trick. I recommend it.
