iRP, I'd argue that forward guns aren't meant to be unmountable at all. Most or all of the ships with forward guns seem to be designed and built around them - the idea of "taking out" a Valor, LSC, or Jorm's forward gun without gutting the entire ship sounds, to me, absolutely ridiculous - not to mention the question of managing to store the damn thing.

Well, I'm asking because the contractor that we've hired (to get us Phase Aligner) told me that they weren't able to dissmount one. Anyway, thanks on your answers.

"Phase aligner" is meaningless technobabble from every scifi universe. It doesn't really mean anything in the context it's usually used. What a phase aligner actually is, is aligning the phases of waveforms so they are harmonious with each other and don't create interference. You hear it a lot in the music technology and subwoofer world.
Unless you're trying to make the biggest boombox in the history of the universe, I'd suggest detailing what types of waves you're trying to align. Talk about the physics of the gun.
