SN Firing Glitch - zeinstruktor - 11-30-2008 You're on the final run of the fight, your target has no shields, your supernova is ready. You aim right on the sweet spot, press the button... But, what?! It doesn't fire! Another pass, and the same thing! Has this ever happened to anybody? Or is it just me... It gets pretty irritating. SN Firing Glitch - Walker - 11-30-2008 Are you flying a Roc? AKA Civvie Bomber AKA Preagle? If so then... Its bugged Press the number for whatever your SNAC is instead of shift+q SN Firing Glitch - Boss - 11-30-2008 Power level. If it's too low, it won't shoot. SN Firing Glitch - Walker - 11-30-2008 That too. A SNAC is one of the 'few' Gun Torpedos that use Power to fire and don't track FYI. SN Firing Glitch - jimhunter - 11-30-2008 Well, some bombers have the SN under a wing (namely Havoc). So if the target is above the wing, it won't fire. SN Firing Glitch - sovereign - 11-30-2008 I've had this happen when I'm almost at full power and pushing the limits on when I need to fire. (Actually, its happened with my Nomad Torpedo too). My guess is that if you tell it to fire in between its refire rate, the refire clock resets (or at least jumps back). Really annoying though... SN Firing Glitch - zeinstruktor - 11-30-2008 No, I've had full power the whole time. I was using a Taiidan, but it's happened on my Falcata before too. It's very annoying, because everytime it's happened my power was at 100%. When I switch weapon groups back and forth back to the SN group, it works again. EDIT: I've also noticed when firing missiles on some ships, if you press weapon group 1, but are already in that group, your missiles stop tracking. You have to do the switch target trick to get it to work again. SN Firing Glitch - Saigo.Watanabe - 11-30-2008 ' Wrote:No, I've had full power the whole time. It happens at the most inconvient times and most of the time its nothing to do with the firing arc, because its roughly the same everytime. I would like a answer why this happens too. SN Firing Glitch - komet - 11-30-2008 I've had the same problem on occasion too. But I guess it makes SN fights even more like Russian Roulette. But, like Saigo said, it always happens at the most inconvenient time. SN Firing Glitch - Asgardian - 12-01-2008 Yeah, had this happen to me on the Havoc a few times...quite annoying. Whats even more annoying is when my SN passes through the little holes in the Falcatta's design...not sure if this has happened to anyone else though. |
