Add open tags such as LNS, MNS, HMS etc to the Tracker - sindroms - 07-31-2016

Hey there.
For those of you who are around from the early 2008s, you might remember we had a tracker back then as well. A few of them. One tracker was sorted by total money (Because back then there weren't a lot of people who had more than a billion credits) and the other - by playtime.

Now this later list was actually pretty interesting, because it let people have a sense of pride for their characters. That they were ''dedicated'' to one ID and whatnot. Of course, this did not stop people from just farming time AFK, but those people were very quickly called out for their actions and glared at by their other ID users, so it was a very rare occurance.

Thing is, it helped people establish their name in a particular region. It was useful, though not really of any significance outside of bragging rights.

But you know what? We need bragging rights. For people who do not spend hours in Connecticut or in the forum RP section, they need to somehow establish themselves as well.

I would like to suggest we bring back that full player list, listed by time online. Or, if that does not work, then add ''indie'' tags such as LNS, HMS, CNS, RNC, MNS, etc to the tracker. It should be easy enough to do and can lead to an activity boost as players will want to be at the top of the list.

If anything, there seem to be no immediate negatives to this suggestion, apart from factions who use both titles in their name, such as [LN]-LNS-name or similar. No idea how the tracker would interact with those.

But if you are not in a faction then why do you care about being on top of some activity list?

Pride, mostly. That you are active on that sort of character, that you can say that "I contribute more time to this ID more than most of X faction" for example. It is highly motivating. Ask Moonwalker - who is one of the first names you imagine when someone says Outcasts.

I like the idea. Also, I believe the RNS- and LNS- tags were added to the Faction Status page during the last California event iirc, so I'm pretty sure all of those (HMS, RNC, etc.) can be added.

I like this idea also, I think we should do it.

I'm in favor of both bringing back the full-name tracker as well as adding HMS, RNC, RNS, KDS, IKN, MNS, LNS, OCV, WV, CNS, CPW, and any others I might've missed to the faction tracker.

At this point, I am just curious what would happen if you did that.
If an admin is reading, feel free to swipe 500mil off Spazzybank and plop...uh, dunno. LNS on the tracker or something.

You know, as a test and whatnot.
