Greetings pilots
thinking of wantin to try out a police character who's in a armored transport. he'll have the tag and id of a liberty police. but instead of a liberator, he'll be in an armored transport(complete with correct guns and stuff) you think that would fly? or just be bad form?
thanx for any info and ideas you bring to the table.
reasoning: liberators can't do squat against most transports. and every police station has a paddy wagon.

Well, the ID allows it, and the BPA has a collection of Percherons, so I can't see anything against it.
Very useful for things like interdicting slave traders or people carrying lawful pilots.

The NPCs do it, so there is nothing wrong with it.

Make sure to get a ship with a CD. Otherwise you are not a policeman, just a complainer.

and lookin on the wicki. this idea looks like a no go.
unless you have any idea's on either a freightor or a transport that can equip a CD. only one i can think of is in kusari(the beetle) butthat wouldn't sit too well with rp:(

i think 4.85 will be your friend then - the grizzly will be some sort of an assault freighter - fitting your purpose like a glove....
the only problem is to wait ... till 4.85:P- but its a great ship to fly, small, agile, heavily armoured and armed - and it can cloak! ( well.... it says so in the manual - but you know how it is with things made in liberty - they promise more than they can fulfil:crazy:) - but even so - its gonne be your ship.

Well, BPA uses the Percheron and it rocks. Adapt.
//edit: Jinx revealed it first but yeah that ship he mentions is a great police ship.

I'd like to see the AT get a CD actually. While the Grizzly is a liberty ship (not THAT liberty ship), the AT is Sirius wide.
