Lan Server FLhook console - Nakrom - 09-22-2016

Hi there. Not sure where I'm supposed to post this threat.

Anyway. my problem is that i am trying to make a LAN server for weekend plays at home, but when i launch the server the FLhook console does not pop up.

It was working when i ran win10 OS. but because of several issues i down graded to win7 again. reinstalled freelancer and then discovery mod as i did before. but now the console doesn't pop up and does not enable the flhook plugins.

how can i fix this?

Regards, Nakrom

Yes! That worked. obviously was missing the vc_redists. Thanks. Another quick question.. is there a way to launch the DSLauncher without internet connection for at home lan play. specifically to sort the widescreen issues?

Not right now, if you just want the widescreen stuff make a shortcut to freelancer.exe and use the -dx argument

(happy) THat'll work. thanks for the awesome help.

Is there a threat for custom modding by any chance? i wanna do some slight moddifications to the home lan play

RE: Lan Server FLhook console - Alley - 09-22-2016

no, as long as the server and the client have the same files you'll be fine
