Nexus: The Jupiter Incident - Kauket - 09-26-2016 So today I learned something fantastic, Nexus the Jupiter Incident was bought out by some people named Nordic Games (I think?), who also went out and fixed the game. Like. A lot. You can actually run Multiplayer now, holy carpfish. There's other things such as higher quality textures, more resolution controls, bug fixing, crash fixes, and well - I never really got to try out Multiplayer. It uses steam now, I dunno how many people have this game on steam but it would be super cool to try it out. http://steamcommunity.com/app/6420/discussions/0/385428943462446770/ If you haven't heard of or played this game, you should honestly try it out. It's amazing, even if slightly dated - but it still lives on as a great space game. Mind you, the game is really tactical in combat. either way big excite eeeeee RE: Nexus: The Jupiter Incident - Durandal - 09-26-2016
RE: Nexus: The Jupiter Incident - eigos - 09-26-2016 Amazing what they achieved with low-poly low-res models! And here, that's the A(u)zari battleship: http://media.moddb.com/images/mods/1/15/14757/Azari_adv_bship.JPG In all seriousness, look at the amazing bases: http://www.wingamestore.com/images_screenshots/nexus-the-jupiter-incident-38830.jpg http://www.oldpcgaming.net/wp-content/gallery/nexus-jupiter-incident/19_1.jpg http://www.gamersglobal.de/sites/gamersglobal.de/files/galerie/nexus_8.jpg RE: Nexus: The Jupiter Incident - Kauket - 09-26-2016 (09-26-2016, 09:57 AM)eigos Wrote: Amazing what they achieved with low-poly low-res models! some of the vanilla retextures and remodels are pretty great http://i.imgur.com/EDE2OW6.png http://i.imgur.com/uBG3Eal.png http://i.imgur.com/fPs5apT.png although the glow and flares are rather heavier RE: Nexus: The Jupiter Incident - Astreas - 09-26-2016 Noticed this fantastic news and looking forward to spend some more time playing this amazing game. It's looks much better now and support of the widescreen res is exactly the thing I was looking for this game. It worth playing even without MP for sure. RE: Nexus: The Jupiter Incident - Alley - 09-26-2016 I heard great things about this game but never got to play it. Thanks for the heads up. RE: Nexus: The Jupiter Incident - sindroms - 09-26-2016 Yup. Gonna take a look at it eventually, once I finish playing Fallout 4 and get to installing Just Cause 3, which I bought and never touched.. RE: Nexus: The Jupiter Incident - Teerin - 09-26-2016 Nexus is a fantastic game. I should look into this and try to see if I can make it past that one annoying mission I always got stuck on ... Both were a tad too frustrating |
