Sirius Rogues {SR} - Sirius Rogues - 10-11-2016 ![]() OVERVIEW Tag: {SR} I.D.: Liberty Rogues IFF: Liberty Rogues ROGUE HISTORY RE-ESTABLISHMENT OF THE ROGUES After the rise and fall of many groups of Rogues, most notably the Liberty Rogues, Tori took it upon herself to take what she had learned as her time of being underboss in both the Liberty Rogues, and the Padua Liberty Rogues to form a small crime syndicate. Using her knowledge of what would make them successful, she employed those she trusted with the intention of forming a notable force in Liberty once again. Tori knew she needed to have a group of loyal Rogues before anything could come to fruition. This would be the hard part. While there were many rumours of Moka’s whereabouts – many of which stated he had fled Liberty, or died – she knew not many of the remaining Rogues would be willing to follow her. After all she was only young; and a woman at that. To eliminate this problem, she needed support. Her first port of call was a man named Marcus Vale. While Tori did not know much about Marcus, she knew he was loyal. His experience as an underboss in the Padua Liberty Rogues would prove to be valuable. Due to his previous experience, Marcus would be given then rank of Consigliere – the advisor and political analyst of the group. His knowledge would be something she called on often. The two met in a bar to further discuss the offer and for her to ensure he was on side. While basing temporarily off Fortaleza Base in Humboldt. From here Tori sent a transmission out available for all Rogues. This was met with a variety of responces. The larger - already established groups - were happy to see her back with this plan, willing to offer support as it was required. The individual pilots were not as open to this idea, accusing her of political speeches and suggesting the Lane Hackers to be a better fit. Despite having the support from Marcus and a few additional Rogues who had been more than happy to join her, she began to wonder if this was, in fact, a good idea. These thoughts did not stay long after hearing from an old friend; Addic Tori was happy to discover that not only was he on her side; but he also had a number of loyal pilots willing to follow him, as well as being able to assist in resolving the Sirius Rogues problems with a station to base out of; and the means to fund this. She later learnt this was due to a deal he had made with the Junker Congress for the return of the Arbiter - James Trenton. Addic's only stipulation was to be allowed to use the Color Rogue patch as his secondary, Tori was more than willing to agree to this. A combination of the support he was able to offer and their previous relations led her to appoint him the role of Vice President in the Sirius Rogues. Tori also knew that while having a safe place to call home was important, getting on side with the Junkers was also a priority to secure their future with the Outcasts. With the establishment of Carolina Outpost as a staging area for the Sirius Rogue forces, Puerto Rico can now be considered home. The Junkers had dominated the cardimine trade in Liberty for some time, and it was a concern many Rogue Crime Boss’ and Warlords ha prior to the Sirius Rogues. While the Junkers had been distributing cardimine throughout Liberty, the Rogues were all but an expendable force to them. The Sirius Rogues knew that; they also knew it was time for the Sirius Rogues to establish their own economy. Eventually a deal would need to be made with the Junkers of Puerto Rico, known as Junker Congress. First, these Junkers would need to see a show of force, not just to put them under thumb, but to force them to recognize the Rogues as power in Puerto Rico. Once they had a secure home and number of pilots on board, the Sirius Rogues intend to contact other known allies and friends to re-establish relations, re-open trade opportunities and capitalize on black market ventures, primarily counterfeit software and the cardamine-slave trade to bolster their income. This was one thing had remained true to previous Rogue groups, they did not consider themselves to be pirates. While they were largely unorganized in their dealings in organized crime, they saw themselves to have more class than that of the traditional pirates in across Sirius. When not providing support, or moving cardamine and other assorted (usually illegal or black market) goods, the Rogues can often be found in one of two places. Usually they can be found taxing ships for passing through ‘their’ space in Liberty, failure to comply would usually be the pilots final mistake as the Sirius Rogues, just as many Rogues before them, have access to a more deadly - if not advanced - arsenal than most would expect. If not here, they can be found socialising (usually drunk and/or high) in any number of bars they have access to. Some time after the establishment of the Sirius Rogues Tori disappeared. Her current whereabouts are unknown. In order to keep the group focused on their goals Addic stepped up to the position of President. His natural leadership abilities and unrelenting hatred of the Liberty Government made him perfect for the position. Under Addic's leadership the Sirius Rogues maintain a razor sharp focus on their ultimate goal. EXPANDING ROGUE INFLUENCE Just as the Padua Liberty Rogues had sucessfully expanded their influence into Kusari space, the Sirius Rogues wanted to expand out of Liberty. While this is a particularly important part in the Sirius Rogues, keeping to true Rogue tradition not much thought has gone into how this will be achieved as of yet. It is expected this will be a very long term goal as establishment in Liberty is of a higher priority. RANKING Founder This is an honorary title given to the Founding member of Sirius Rogues. While they do not retain the position of "Leader" they do maintain a position of respect. The Sirius Rogues often turn to their Founder when seeking advice.
President The President is the current Leader of Sirius Rogues. They organize the various groups of Rogues that have been incorporated into the Sirius Rogues. The President also crafts the Vision and Ideals the Sirius Rogues follow.
Vice President The VP is a position of leadership. Granted to the Rogue most capable of enacting the Presidents Vision.
Sergeant at Arms The Sergeant at Arms is a Militaristic position. This is the person that organizes combat and precision strikes against the Sirius Rogues' enemies.
Treasurer The Treasurer is responsible for maintaining Sirius Rogue funds. Their responsibilities include maintaining a Bounty Board, Bank, and organizing trade. The Treasurer ensures that a Rogue economy is built and maintained.
Enforcer The Enforcer is a combat proven member of the Sirius Rogues. Enforcers provide a wide variety of services to the Sirius Rogues. They are vetted members that participate in combat missions, bounty collections, piracy, and/or the industry of Slaving/Cardamine hauling.
Prospect This is a Recruit for the Sirius Rogues. They assist Enforcers in whatever duties they may need help with. CHAPTERS The intention is to create unity among Rogues, which means we are open to absorbing existing groups. However we do not wish to take away from the time and work put into these.
We will be running a "chapter" system where those who join - while flying under our call sign - will have the opportunity to keep their group as is - including keeping their tag as a suffix to their name. Recruitment, leadership and names will remain as it was for that group unless it is agreed to be changed. Any communications directed to this chapter will be this chapters responsibility - as will recruitment and maintenance of assets unless otherwise discussed. This will allow for each group to continue on with what has already been in play with the additional support and backing of a larger force. Business deals and large decisions can still be made for each individual chapter, but will be discussed among leadership before being set in motion. NAMING CONVENTIONS
All manner of Harley Davidson bike and bike parts - including engine components. First in first serve for names.
Ship names for the main group should be set out as follows: {SR}name.here Ship names for each individual chapter should be set out as follows: {SR}name.here-[your.tag.here] SHIPS USED

Rogues needed a faction and you guys brought out some interesting roleplay from it. RE: Sirius Rogues {SR} - Fish - 10-11-2016 One of the only factions who do actial RP with Scyllas (RP, NOT PURE 2MILORDAI) Good luck! I hope the silent engagers stay as far far away from SR as they have for so long - seems to be a problem as soon as officialdom happens, but you seem to know what you're doing so i suspect that won't be a problem RE: Sirius Rogues {SR} - Demonic - 10-11-2016 Good luck. I'm just not sure if any group would be willing to join... RE: Sirius Rogues {SR} - Shiki - 10-11-2016 What can I say? Official LR faction is needed on this server. Good luck. RE: Sirius Rogues {SR} - Xenon - 10-12-2016 Very good story line! I wish you good luck guys, it seems you are professional enough
RE: Sirius Rogues {SR} - Pinko - 10-12-2016 My biggest concern/complaint is that the goals of the group pretty much ignores the inherent limits that are meant to be of the Liberty Rogues in favor of some trans-Sirian syndicate of some kind, if I understand correctly. Now believe me, I love me some long term goals, but I believe that this is such a drastic take on the Rogues that it becomes a bit, well, immersion breaking to me. Then again, I had to deal with similar concepts in the past, such as the Légions des Damnés in Gallia on the Brigand side, and those were pretty negative experiences to begin with, so my view probably is biased. I understand that the Rogues do have some interest outside of Liberty as well as an actual presence outside of it, but, Iunno, I'm all for exploiting every RP route, but I'm also one that truly favors allowing everyone to bloom within their own House. I'm hoping the plan is not to kill opportunities of other factions in other Houses, or to end up replacing middlemen organisations and whatnot. Just my two cents. Everyone has a role to play. (Plus it's not like I play the game anymore) RE: Sirius Rogues {SR} - Sirius Rogues - 10-12-2016 The long term goal of is not to have a ZOI all over Sirius. Our main focus will remain in Liberty. In order to build our own economy to fund the fight against Liberty we need to rely on connections outside of Liberty. The best example I can give would be factions like Mollys (who share the same tech). Expanding influence into areas where our Allies operate to create some form of Rogue/Unlawful industry is central to our RP. Having a ZOI in Kusari and Coronado is a great step in the right direction. Coronado gives us a good solid route to the Outcasts, while Shikoku gives us access to the BD and GC. While we haven't had the opportunity to interact with BD or GC we would certainly like to do so. Bering and Hudson give us access to the Unioners. The next step (should we become official) would be access to Hamburg. Not exclusively for piracy, but further cooperation with Unioners. Everything we do is to gain an advantage over Liberty Government, whether it is in the form of firepower, economic, or diplomatic. Our goal isn't to pirate all over Sirius. The Sirius part of Sirius Rogues does not necessarily denote piracy across Sirius, but some form of influence/presence in areas that can benefit the Rogues fight against Liberty. I hope this alleviates some of the concern over the faction. RE: Sirius Rogues {SR} - sindroms - 10-12-2016 Money taken. Good luck. RE: Sirius Rogues {SR} - Sirius Rogues - 11-02-2016 It doesn't appear that we have been added to the activity tracker. We waited until November thinking maybe we wouldn't be added until then, but we're still not on there. |
