Something I've been wondering about. Please also explain why or discuss balance issues if you want, so the thread keep getting bumped and the poll becomes representative.

trading for me, it used to be balanced between trading and random RP missions(missions given by RPing with factions, not station missions) can give anything between 10 million and 500 million depending on the circumstances, but sometimes the RP around a certain thing ends prematurely so there's no real other way than trading or pirating

As a zoner character I spend most of time trading for roleplay purpose.

I trade. When I want to make moneys, I want to make it the right way. When I pirate, I usually make small demands, so it's easier to not get flamed.

With a capital, a good CAU and much missions against Cruisers/Gunboats you can earn 5/10 milion per mission.

Trading, then smuggling, then mining. In that order.
Trading is how I make the most of my money, because it's the most reliable one. Smuggling is the second best part, because it's risky, and since I smuggle with official tag, I usually refrain from smuggling unless there is a good chance of not getting caught. Mining I use the least, since it requires a good location and at least one other player to team up to be profitable, though if you find good conditions, it can be the most profitable out of the three.

I've been doing the same smuggling route since 2010. The jumpholes might've changed but the route is still the same.

Mainly mining. Also have a few freighters spread out across most houses for a variety of different runs...i hate doing the same run over and over. Also..having a few different ships/runs helps with avoiding area's where pirates like to sit.

Mostly Smuggling and Trading here. Trading is more reliable, but smuggling tends to give better Rp oppurtunities on the go. If I pirate, its almost always for the RP, not the money
