Casual idea for PoB Modules - rhodesia - 10-31-2016 Just a casual thought I was having, not sure about the actual stuff required to make it happen, those that are more well informed feel free to comment. I was thinking that an extension of the modules available to PoBs would be great, idea as follows in dot point format: - Change up mining so Ore comes in and the refined version comes out (by use of a refinery module). Make the refined version worth more money (more like IRL) - Make more production modules in line with the ore process (code could be the same) > Farm module - water, seeds, farming equipment, soil (you get it) in > raw food/food out (would make for some interesting RP opportunities) > Basic principle applies to anything - I envision a process similar to the game Capitalism II (for those that are familiar, those that aren't its a business game where you set up supply etc for factories/shops ...) - It could perhaps utilise some of the code from the existing factory modules with the outcome being x,000 food. Anyway that's it, shoot holes/add ideas at will. I understand it may not be easy/simple/possible to do but could feed RP (no pun intended) and add another aspect to the game RE: Casual idea for PoB Modules - Hina Nakamura - 10-31-2016 ![]() RE: Casual idea for PoB Modules - Alley - 10-31-2016 That's literally the refinery module I designed two years ago for Neo Terra. Unfortunately POBs are quite far down on the TODO list at the moment. There's more important stuff. A right, wasn't aware of such a development. Cheers. |
