Looking for an experienced modeler - Kalhmera - 11-18-2016

Sup guys, I'm looking for someone to re model my Osiris for a new texture (all black) the rear lower primary weapon to face forward (like the murmullo) and additional two secondaries. Along with a darkish red engine trail color. And I was thinking if the front of the Osiris could Be modified for a more unique look. I'll pay you a very large sum of credits for your work if anyone is interested. My Skype is xeno3763

Yo, Kahl, why not give it a go yourself? I myself got hooked on learning to model a few months ago, having been inspired by people like Swallow, Barb, Jinx and Durandal.

It would be like a cool idea to have a "ship build-off" with other SRP-ers and everyone would unleash their creativity to make something really unique. That means also that each work will be 100% original, both models and roleplay to put it in the mod.

Not sure if you can add additional weapons, as this affects ship performance and balance; though, I haven't been around to know if other ship modifications have included this. @"Sombra Hookier" had a model overhaul done for his/her Mako, but I don't think it included changes to the weapons.

Curious to see how it turns out.

I don't want to give it a go because I don't model... and when it comes to balancing leave that to the admins. It's ok to have a top tier ship so long as it's not to overpowered.

Bumping

Well, I might give it a go, but I'm not a big fan of creating ships which only one person is ever going to use nor am I convinced unique ships have a place here. It's not a single player game.

Modelling, texturing and statting is easy to self-tech. Try it.

Fyi

To do most of these things you dont actually need to model.

Just add extra hardpoints in hardcmp and modify the current for the angles

As for the textures, just use an art programme and darken it and lower the saturation. You're only changing the textures

And for the engine, thats ezpz in terms of alchemy, though you will need to duplicate the engine entry in the ini's and change names where needed.

While what he has in mind for his SRP could be done with a simple clone of an ossie with one swapped hardpoint, I think it would be safe to assume that if you are about to sink effort into a custom ship, you might as well make something that isn't a clone.

The reason to not to do SRPs for someone is this: https://p3d.in/dBO4T
It was meant to be a SRP BDM BC, which as far as I am acknowledged was abandoned by the requester before it even got into the game.
So I, as a modeler, had put an effort into nothing,

That is what Commissions are for.
