Born from the thread asking about a market for coordinates, what was the reason for not making a smaller jump drive for maybe cruisers or battlecruisers?
Since Jump Drive Series 1 is missing I assume there was a reason for that.

IMHO, there needs to be a light jump drive for cruisers/destroyers that can jump 1 system away
Would be tactical and cool at the same time

If I remember right, it is possible to use the Jump drive MK3 on a battlecruiser. Cruiser don't have the needed cargo size. But it might be that you'll need to drop some fuel in space because you can't load enough fuel in your battlecuiser, next to a jump drive. Also mounting an armor might be difficult.

I'm fine with snubs not having them as docking modules are supposed to come back.
