TO: Liberty Government Ontario, Liberty Space Greetings, Liberty Government
My name is Rick Mortar, the newly appointed Head of the Research, Development and Engineering Division (or RDE for short) within DSE. I was directed by President Jack Doe, to inform you of our progress of Project Cold Lake. Over the past 5 years, we've been developing and refining the method to go far distances in just seconds. With this now successfully developed, we are glad to say the gate has passed preliminary tests with success! Meaning the gate is operational! However... there is one setback. That is because till there's a destination gate, the gate in Alberta is unusable. Till we've got an end point, that's all that is to know. But let's celebrate! Liberty ale on us! Sincerely, Head of RDE Rick Mortar RE: To: Liberty Government - Deep Space Engineering - 01-05-2017 ![]() RETRANSMITTING

![]() The Republic of Liberty Department of Defense Mr. Rick Mortar
Our Department is very interested in the breakthrough the experimental Hypergate in Alberta is providing us with. With such technological advantage we can provide a faster, safer, passage for our troops and commerce. To assist you in further proceeding with the project the Liberty Navy will be providing you with logistical and military support. We will also call for the cooperation of other Departments of State to create a suitable environment to make progress in this project faster and easier. Stay in contact with the Navy research teams and units regarding what is needed and if you have located any preferable testing grounds for the Hypergate. I will make sure they are notified about your progress. Please let us know about any questions. - Robert McKay, Secretary of State for Defense |
