This is talking about a Starflier that was just made, and is obviously moving through with the intent to set-up (say, Xenos going to get a Taiidan or Eagle, Order, Nomads, etc.). Having a cash transfer first that puts you overlevel could leave the LSF or LN free to stop you, especially if you mount a Trader ID just for setup. I had an LSF try to blow me outta the sky just recently, as I moved through to setup a ship. Just wondering what you all thought.

I say it depends - Mostly you can, especialyWhen you want to make liberty navy, LSF or Order ( you even "must" go trough there in that case) character... But I'm generally aginst people...like mercenaries going there 'cause its simpy easyier, than finding equipment elswhere.

Striking a balance between gameplay and RP is a tricky thing and something that most rarely do.
Allowing an overlevel starflier through to get a ship, sure.
Allowing an overlevel Battleship through to 'get a ship', maybe not.

Only if your a Zoner using a Civvy Bomber (SPOILER: Freeport 11), or going to defend Freeport 11. Or if your an Order character, or Navy. All other characters should go through other systems. Liberty -> Rheinland -> Sigmas -> Omicrons and your fine.

I don't think it necessarily matters. If you can get through the Minefield and the Nommies, go ahead, as long as the Libertonians say alright. Though, I don't do it...

Why on Earth would a Zoner be allowed to go through Alaska but no one else?

Here is the long version to your answer
Yes, you do have permission to go through Z-21 to set up a ship.
Though it is highly not recommended for people who don't know
the systems of which you will pass because if you get lost and
die you will have to start over. For some people, such as myself,
it is verey simple to get through the systems without a problem.
However if you are an RP psycho going through the systems
and a player tries to hail you. It tends to get complicating.
