Long time ago, there were conflicts that ended by a total war. There were two sides fighting as history says, the coalition and the alliance.
For decades they fought until the coalition had the upper hand which forced the alliance to retreat. A battle after another, the alliance lost most of their capital capable ships and their armada shrank in terrifying rates. History mentioned that the alliance launched 5 sleeper ships in desperation, hoping that they can breach through the blockades and escape far away to start a new life full of peace and hope. Some launched safely, some launched with damage and some were delayed. It was that kind of desperate operations so that pilots had no chance to look back and recognize who was crippling to catch the formations and who was left behind between life and death. Beyond expectations and logic, the sleepers ships or most of them managed to break through the blockade and headed towards the Sirius system. It was a moment that always will be immortal in our memories, for generations after generations, they will always tell the tales of their fathers and how they started the new life far from the predators that divided us at the beginning. It was a vast space once they arrived. Vast because of their lesser capabilities to explore fast and effectively, but that was in the past. Later they had more advancement, awareness and abilities. The expeditions started to spread to every corner of this new sector, the Sirius sector. The Hispania sleeper ship crashed at Omicron Alpha and that is our fate. We didn't surrender to that but we survived, we flourished. Planet Malta was discovered and occupied later. It provided us with more than what we wanted so everybody was happily settled inside. Many years passed before any exploration happen or expedition fleet sent to discover around, but then population increased and more years of peace occurred which gave a chance for the people to get out of that constant feeling of fear and war which they lived for decades with the coalition assaults.

Expeditions started to spread one more time and more outposts were built to maintain the new stronghold of the maltese nation.
Omicron Tau was explored and Planet Soledad was discovered. That planet is unique and almost one of it's kind. As seen from space, Planet Soledad is a beautiful planet with green continents and an abundance of water but the planet is surrounded by a strong radiation field that quickly corrodes metal. No ship can withstand extended exposure and building docking rings is impossible. These challenges didn't give a chance for many people to land on that planet but only a small group of scientists resided on the planet at first. That team of scientists was also unique selection of experienced outcasts. That team included my grand father, Doctor Francisco Jose. He was my idol and i studied and worked hard for the past 10 years because i always looked forward to continue his legacy and to extended the honor and pride to our blood line which was and always will be working for science and the development of the human race.

The scientists team resided on Planet Soledad for a while now and during that stay, they applied many experiments which resulted in very interesting discoveries.
These discoveries helped the Hispania community to survive longer and become more powerful. The mother of all discoveries happened when the scientists team discovered that when orange particles from the Huescar Nebula were combined with the natural soil then Cardamine plants would grow. This discovery is one of the main reasons why wild Cardamine grows in a narrow Malta-like tropical zone near the planet's equator.
Now it's time to tell you who am i and whom i represent. My name is Doctor Manuel Jose, a former soldier of the Crimson Cross Maltese forces. I served for years the Hispanic community fighting for it's freedom and beauty but my time as a soldier has ended. I am now around 40's and my grey hair is increasing very fast. I decided to direct my efforts towards science and the future of our kind. We worked in this universe alone and there are few who visit us here at Planet Soledad where our main labs are located. We depend here on small convoys who can go through the highly radiation around the Planet Soledad for support and supplies. We managed to build a great economy for ourselves and now we will be one of the main sources for absolute cardamine production not only in the Hispanic realm but all over the universe.

The idea of building Soledad Research Complex was always in our minds as scientists but our capabilities were not enough to help building such a great complex serving all the Hispanic nations. Now the situation have changed and because of our non-stop stream of absolute cardamine production, we have now the required funds for starting this major project and the ability to maintain it constantly.
