To BAF HC About Dauntless and Allegiance - FallenKnight - 05-06-2017
Recently it came to my attention that there are people out there still believing after an year that I stole these ships. This can't continue, so its time for clarifications.
I like to mix my oorp donations as if it was my char in rp that did them. Here are three examples of such events: Royal Liner Britannia, Prison Liner Glasshouse, Credits and RP elements. When I donate/gift something I always prepare a message so the gift to be legit and written. Nevertheless Dauntless and Allegiance were never donated to the faction in this way.
Dauntless is my 2nd dunkirk and Allegiance is my LABC. During my leadership of BAF, I've worked on the LN-BAF military alliance where we could take some of their ships. That is how the LABC was permitted. I build this ship, armed and armored it with my own credits because BAF armory had not enough. BAF also had an activity problems, we had few members and most of them were unable to mine and buy capital ships, so I decided to place Dauntless and Allegiance in a shared account and give access to them not only to BAC HC but to all "captains" as well. The ships remained as shared for nearly 5 years. Quite a lot of time, right? Many people used them, changed builds and more - and I were fine with that. Nevertheless it seems time made people lose tie with who really owned these ships. It is normal to conclude that 5 years old ships are property to BAF...but that is not how things work out. And definitely that is not how I do gifts. If I did wanted these ships to be given to BAF, I would write a huge wall of text in RP to make my char the one giving the donation. Have I done such a thing? No...then that never happened and the ships were not gifted. That is how I do donations - always within RP and with document.
So, after the incident last year I was requested to remove all my ships from BAF and their tags. So my Royal.Sovereign, Niagara, Dauntless and Allegiance had to be removed from the faction. None of them were ever donated in the way I presented you above.
I am writing you this to simply inform my former faction of the truth as it is. I am not a thief...I don't need credits nor ships. When the leader wanted me away with all my ships...I took all my ships.
PS: This thread is only about discussing these ships. Don't change the subject nor seek further info.

@Silver, yesterday i build this thread and spent a lot of time to dig up my char stuff. It happens that some images were missing and I had to re-upload them. If you think I created this yesterday - please ask admin to show you the history log and reveal the "old" not modified post. Its same but with "tiny.pic" site images.
PS: Also took some time to dig up this - response from Ralston (FA) about the recent donations and awards. In case any more doubt exist.

I know that when I created BAF|MN- shared ships, AlphaWolf told me, that they are property of BAF|.
So I'm completly fine with that.
Anyway, in your case it's different and to be honest, they are still your ships.

@Legionnaire That is very interesting information you just said. First things first - old [Convoy] are the current Merchant Navy version. Back then it was my idea to place them within BAF - with full agreement of their leader @Rubber_Duck . So they become BAF|MN-...and were never property of BAF. They were simply the player ships inside the faction.
Usually players that are part of a faction own their ships unless they are special case. I don't know what is the current situation in MN but from your words it seems like you are employees.

Well, I need to say that the old BAF|MN shared ships were not there anymore, because of the activity wipe.
My plan was to lead BAF|MN- since I'm a big fan of trading and so on.
Anyway, when I decided to create the shared ships, I agreed that I give the ships away (I create them, but they are not my property anymore).
About being employees, no clue. I just wanted to give the remaining BAF|MN players some ships that they can use when they need to fight and don't have fighter ships or when they are not near the fighting scene.

If you are willingly and openly giving ships as shared for those that don't have any - that is honorable deed. But if you did create ships to be shared without stating their status ever - that's another story. That is why when I donate things they are followed by rp/document, just in case all to be clear. The two ships above had no such rp/document nor statement/oorp so I found it frustrating being accused of stealing my own ships...in some sort of evil plan to damage the faction i spent nearly a decade.
