Information
Location: Omega-58
Who can participate: RHA (indies and officials but pls log SOA if u have), Wilde, K'Hara, vagrants, indie nomads.
Time: Sunday 30th of July, 18:00 server time (UTC + 0)
Starting position: Omega-47 Jumphole (Hessians), Kaarst Drydock (nomnoms)

OoRP development: If the admins wish to add a kill bonus and stick around for a re-engaging peroid of this event, I'll be more than happy to have it. If not, standard pvp rules apply.
Outcome: Inrp the nomads will beat the SOA forces entering the system to try and stop the nomad advance that ends up being much larger than they anticipated.
Followup: The nomads enter Tangier's surface where a fight will commence on the planetary surface system coming in 4.89 final.
Rules
Registration: Not mandatory, but please post below if you're likely to show up so we have an idea.
Equipment: Expect to be first target if you use screamers, sidewinders, screamers, sidewinders, screamers, sidewinders,
and also screamers.
:: Prologue ::

While running experiments on nomad subjects (most of which being dead) in the SOA labs below the surface of Planet Tangier, a few managed to escape, triggering a security lockdown. Within moments the lowest decks were flooded with infected personnel and SOA security could not contain the number of combatants and test subjects now turning on them. After losing control, the nomads moved to the upper levels, causing havoc, tearing apart the underground facility from inside out. After finally ordering an evacuation and successfully moving all personnel out of the facility, Director Siegfried Draay of the Spezialoperationsabteilung, ordered an airstrike on the facility. The facility was gassed, in an attempt to recapture the facility intact while terminating the nomads, unfortunately, several infected personnel survived. The SOA is currently re-organizing it's garrisons to retake the facility, however they aren't the only ones interested...
:: The Battle for Tangier part I ::
After failing to keep the situation on the surface controlled, the SOA began detecting massive active signals coming from Omega-58. In an effort to keep the situation under control without alerting and further angering Generalmajor Heinrich, Director Draay has ordered a small force of SOA pilots to Omega-58 to destroy the unsuspecting large nomad force. Which is now determined to reclaim the infected bodies on the Planet's surface they've detected. In preparation for the worst, director Draay has also begun moving defensive assets as well as the RHC-Yggdrasil to the Planet's surface.
Yep it's happening people! After talking and getting approval from @Jansen I've decided to kick off part 1 of this event a bit early. You'll notice there's no registration, however if you don't mind please comment below that you'll likely show up so either side has an idea of who's coming.
Another thing to note is that all shipclasses are welcome, while there are no slots please try to balance out caps and snubs for both sides, thanks.
Finally if someone could record this that would be appreciated as there hasn't been a big pew in Omega-58 for a looooong long time.

If @sindroms or another admin would allow a re-engaging fun period like in MRGA, that would be cool too. It's not mandatory for this part though.

RHB-Hvannadalshnukur, a Jorm. Hvannadalshnukur is a volcano on Iceland.
Alternatively I'll make an SHF with 2 sidewinders and 2 screamers. SHFs can still mount that, right?
