Calling all interior decorators! - Danny-boy - 08-25-2017 Hello everyone.... I'm baaaaaaack (I feel far too unknown for anyone to care). Anyways, after breaking my foot, moving house, resitting uni exams and working a complete and utter s h i t job all summer I've decided to return to disco! Then I got to thinking, disco is a place full of creativity and original ideas *cough* Firefly *cough* Kujira *cough* and was hoping to get some bedroom decorating advice. Soooo, I'm a fairly poor student and I'm not allowed to change the actual property although I can move furniture around and put things on the wall as long as I take them off at the end of the year. I like the world map idea Jack, Perhaps above the computer screen, like a scratch one where I can scratch off all the countries I've been to. I'm liking the cozy theme as well, perhaps a few more cushions on my bed and sticking with the cream colour would work well. (not that I could actually repaint the walls). I also have a load of wires running past my door so I was thinking of putting a small rug down to cover em up, any thoughts as to a colour? RE: Calling all interior decorators! - Dino - 08-27-2017 Well, as a student who moved in a room that had only a bed and two closets, I know the feel. Just put lots of posters on the wall, it makes them less empty. Also, you can stick all the concert tickets, stuff from the places you visited, football matches ticket, or whatever you do and want to remember on the wall. It's nice to look at it and remember all the things you've done and where you been. Also, about the rug, put a brown one, as it will match your furniture, plus, you cant really see it's dirty, so you won't have to clean it all the time. But the most important thing is to make it look whatever you want to. Put some of your stuff around, buy something nice. Everything that helps you feel like you're home.
