Research of Cryo Organisms, Planetform Inc. logs and records. - Quanty~ - 09-13-2017 ![]() Planet California Minor, Research Lab Sigma, 3:55 by standart sirian time. Temperature: -20°C; Strong wing and snow; Temperature inside: 19°C; Oxygen level: Normal A cargo ship with the Planetform's logo on the hull landed on the docking area next to the Sigma laboratory. The hull was badly damaged, covered with scratches, paint remains, and rivets from holes. The wind blew strongly, creating a miniature snow cap on the roof of the ship. As soon as the ship landed, people dressed in laboratory suits, protective suits or armor ran at once. Finally, "Sywell" returned from a long exposition. The door to the cargo bay opened. Into the room, crowded with various barrels, snow rushed in, covering tired, but satisfied people. The expedition was a long one and each of its members wanted to see their house as soon as possible. The crew was headed by a woman in a shabby lab coat and a warm jacket. It was the project leader Shirley Morgan. She weakly pointed to the metal cylinders in the cargo hold with notes on biological hazards and special conditions of detention. A group of scientists with gravitational carriers immediately ran up to them, loading these barrels on them. By Dr. Morgan came another scientist, he shaked her hand and said: "We had already flown there before, but when we heard about the expedition, none of us could believe that it would succeed. I look forward to seeing these organisms with my own eyes. Great job, Morgan!" She nodded weakly and turned toward the other laboratories of the Planetform center. Welcome home. RE: Research of Cryo Organisms, Planetform Inc. logs and records. - casualty - 09-21-2017 Doctor Daniel Brooks hadn't fully restored from the horrible fiasco at Yuma yet when he was invited to California Minor. Looks like an almost year-old research involving the strange species of Alien Organisms was reopened and moved from Cold Bay Depot to Cali M. 'That makes sense, - Dan told himself, - That would be good place to conduct some field experiments...'. This thought immediately thrown him back to Yuma, he almost felt the wet dunk air filled with spores and pollen on his face... heard the screams... 'Stop now' - he interrupted himself. He knew that, at his age, he might never actually recover from that expedition. But still, he rose and went to that small compartment on a corporate Percheron parked in a remote corner of Cambridge space port, and spent all the time to California Minor trying to rehash his records about the past research, and trying not to think too hard about what happened to him. He arrived into California Minor's harsh fall. Snow was blowing in his face while he crossed the landing pad towards the hovercraft that took him to the lab complex. When Dan entered Lab Sigma, he saw that the samples were already waiting. He turned to doctor Morgan, who met him inside the lab. - It's pleasure to meet you, doctor. Nice to know that Planetform is still appealing for such brilliant young ladies as you are. Now, let's take a look what we have here. Omicron Beta variety of Alien Organisms, right? I've seen some of those at Cold Bay Depot. Here are my records, please, take a look. We were focusing on their properties, and didn't manage to assess their applicability or effectiveness in terraforming process. I expect that's what you are going to focus on this time? What is your program? RE: Research of Cryo Organisms, Planetform Inc. logs and records. - Corpus13 - 09-22-2017 Planet California Minor, Research Lab Sigma, 4:25 by standart sirian time.
13.09.824 A.S Snow. There was a feeling that the clouds themselves collapsed in the laboratory. Walking against the wind, covering her face with the sleeve of her jacket, the doctor went to the entrance to the laboratory. Once, several months ago, they full of hope flew from the same place to the planet Yama, in order to suffer the most severe failure. Until now, she remembers how they made their way through jungles and deserts, asphyxiating and humid air filled with spores. For this journey, Dr. Berg became more serious, she learned to appreciate human life. Cold steel plates opened before her and, without wasting time, she approached the pair of scientists. Good day, doctor Morgan and doctor Brooks. Let me to congratulate you on your successful expedition. At least you were more successful than us. I guess, you have already started? |
