Bloodhounds

The fight at Planet Tomioka was a major success. Our forces that consisted of four very heavy fighters and my heavy fighter, fought the Naval forces a few days ago. We managed to eliminate all of the hostile fighters that belonged to the Naval forces. I won't lie, but the fight wasn't easy, luckily for us the pre-fight meditation payed off. The only bad thing that happened is that we did lose one of our ships, the pilot was fine, but the ship didn't make it as it exploded right after our brother managed to escape the burning ship.

Now that we've celebrated our victory, I think it's time for us to plan another strike against the Naval Forces. I believe that we should focus our strike on the Southern part of Kusari. We will discuss this matter soon.

This would be all from me... Bloodhounds.
Yao out.

As the Tailed one said, the focus of our next attack was set onto the southern part of Kusari, specifically the Shikoku system, leaning towards the New Tokyo jump gate. While it is somewhat out of reach of the Shogunates usual strike routes, it was a good demonstration to the Naval Forces, showing them that the clan is not afraid to go out of the Dragons comfort zone.

Due to the amount of work currently present for the clan, we we're only able to send out two fighters out of the expected four, one of them being myself. While the Tail was against putting our necks out that far even for the Bloodhounds with such a small force, I had faith in my wingman and my own piloting.

Taking a few alternative routes, we managed to get past the capital planet of New Tokyo and into the system to avoid being attacked by a force we aren't able to handle. Once there, in the center of the tradelane leading away from the New Tokyo jump gate, it wouldn't take long for a Naval patrol to find us.

The odds were lightly against us, but we never turn down a challenge. As with any battle, the Navals fought vigorously, it was a challenge like no other, and dare I say close to matching our endeavour on Tomoika. Before the fight was concluded their last remaining pilot managed to shoot down my own buckling Ravenous Tachi. But in the end we did come out victorious blowing up three of their crafts in return, my wingman finishing off the final target after my temporary demise.

Some of the weapon camera files were corrupted due to the overwhelming heat of my burning ship, but technicians aboard Shirouma managed to save two out of three confirmed destruction's which I will include bellow this report.

I suggest we focus on performing standing tasks given by the Head for the time being, while she along with the Wings can discuss our next move.

That would be all.

My hounds. The handful of you are aware of my regular joy rides around Tohoku and the more dangerous areas neighboring our home system. I have encountered what seems to be a lost wanderer carrying Xeno Relics through restricted space. Vessel call sign [Razor-Light] made contact with me and communicated in a cordial manner. According to the pilot, he found the relics while traversing the Omicrons and heard by word of mouth that Kishiro is willing to buy them off. The pilot was also unaware Tohoku was restricted space, seems to be a greenhorn pilot making his way in this vast bloody universe.

The pilot agreed to shut down navigation and follow my lead with respect and understanding after I've offered to purchase the cargo instead of our enemies at the same price. The relics have been dropped off on Kyoto, and the more friendlier shogunate entities I have contact with have taken care of moving the said cargo to our clans own storage with discretion.

The vessels navigation data was wiped after I've escorted him out of the system to Hokkaido. I've advised the pilot to keep our interaction secret from the True Sons and the rest of the shogunate for obvious reasons. We could use as many sources for procuring materials and equipment as possible. I've extended an invitation to contact the clan for more work.

Due to rising tensions between Kusari and Liberty, I have ventured out to the Galileo System to scout the current situation. Not to prolong this with useless filler speak, I can safely say the system is a salad bowl of eccentrics. But the good kind of eccentrics. I have notified everyone through the announcements channel of all relevant people I have made contact with, besides the remnants of the Hellfire Legion called Task Force Prometheus, on which I will elaborate further after formally contacting them.

Now, this report was primarily meant to archive my encounter with doctor Naomi Horikoshi. During my stay in Galileo, a local pirate and I destroyed a smuggling transport carrying Dam K'Vosh artifacts. I took 20 crates out of the total as my take for assisting in interception so I can bring them back to Ryukyu, but by chance or fate our barely lucid gathering was joined by the researcher in question. Naomi took quick interest in my cargo, and we quickly found common ground. I made a deal with her to give her the artifacts to keep and in exchange her institute will test and analyze them then provide the Nesho'en with the full data.

My dear hounds, we are exceptional warriors, but as you are all aware we do lack in the intelligence department when it comes to these things. And even if some of you don't, we don't have the facilities to conduct the needed experiments.

Your wolfmother is just making jokes and banter, its the exhaustion. I know you wont take offense.

As you are all aware I am still regularly making trips to Galileo in order to scout the situation and set the groundwork for migrating our base of operations. As I encountered and intercepted a Samuran transport, I spotted a Kusarian naval official. Which was lucky, as it was not going to be fun trying to gun down something that large in my Katana. We actually had a pleasant little chat. His name is Issei Hiratsuka, Shikoku garrison. I don't usually make a point of letting an enemy live if I can help it but the old man was endearing, and is probably close to retirement. I asked him just in case if he'd be willing to switch sides but it I wasn't expecting him to. According to Issei the naval pay is good and well, something along the lines of "can't teach an old dog new tricks" but worded differently. After destroying his ship, I left the pod float around a nearby modular station so he should be fine.

In other news, Kyouka asked me very politely to leave a small note of her encounter in Tohoku along with my own report. She encountered a small non-affiliated Mammoth transport flying through Tohoku with a cargo hold full of bioproduce. After attempting to communicate that he or she was flying through restricted space and needs to be escorted out, the vessel didn't respond and opened fire. You can all figure out by yourselves how that ended, but at least she managed to salvage some equipment which the pilot had in his cargo hold.
