Yes indeed. This year basically flew by. It was a horrible year. I am actually glad it is over already, I mean it. Even though there has been quite a lot of ruckus (politically speaking), this year flew by really quickly for some reason. It was just totally unremarkable, a horrible experience filled with unoriginal and witty jokes, Irma destruction reports, and Shelco complaining about my lack of actvity. What do you all think about 2017?

Personally: 10x times better than last year. More stressed but overall still way better.
Surroundings: Probably much worse.

My RL is getting better, although this christmas is burning money already. Bills for heater and electricity came in and they aren't pretty, but nothing that can't be paid within the next three months. More important is that my carpal tunnel syndrome is getting better, especially in my right hand, so I think I'll be able to return to full-time jobs again next year or the following. I can't complain about my private life either.
In terms of Discovery, I made many important experiences, tried out many things, skilled up to the average in VHFs, learned to play and exploit LFs, enjoyed flying a Fearless and still kick arse in any battleship. What started with Thunderer teaching me battleship combat later resulted in quite a bunch of blues I'm happy about .There was a big down moment which almost lead to me leaving, but you can blame @Skorak for making me stay in literally the last moment. Met every now and then a bunch of cool people that are rarely seen on forum and prefer to play the game by just logging into the game and having fun instead of watching the playerlist for hours to find targets. Did much dev-related stuff, tried out all kinds of modding, especially system modding, both in theoretical concepts and trying to get it work in the game. I probably uploaded like ~200 videos this year again, mostly about gameplay and roleplay but also about deving. I'm pretty happy with the progress of my stuff, especially in hindsight of roleplay. I'm glad to see Forlorn and the Vagrants got officialdom, the latter finally got their appropiate nomad equipment and the new ship models. @Durandal, @Xalrok, @Erzie and @Skorak did one cool thing after another and even with Erzie having left, the other three are still kicking and doing a great job on the stuff they do, giving the mod and the community much love without receiving anything in return (apart from Xalrok, I know he gets drugs and blowjobs from the donation money - as if the server really needs that much money per month).
Could have been better, yes, but it also could have been much worse. Even more reason to value all the cool people I get to play with here almost daily, to RP with them, play other games with them every now and then and just have fun, and still being able to enjoy a melting pot of creativity that is called Freelancer Discovery.

This Year, as well as previus 42 in my life, was great, i have nothing (serius) to complain, except usual disco flaws.

Mah. I stopped to judicate and ask from years. I don't care if the year has gone well or not. The matter is that I'm still alive, for now. I don't want to continue with my complaints (Even though their're not complaints, just matter of facts. I'm not complaining...) so I just say that this year has been like the others. The end.
