Went to New York. Home of the elite, the wealthy and the...Navy. After waiting endlessly in vain for a trader to appear on the tradelane between Manhattan and West Point, I had an unexpected catch; a Navy pilot from the 6th Fleet. I repeatedly told him to buzz off, but he intended for me to do the same. After exchanging some taunts, he lost his patience and attacked, so I ended his ship and salvaged the scrap to the Junkers.

Didn't catch any traders, but the scrap paid for the trip to New York, and a little bit more. Oh well, more luck next time perhaps.

Sadistic bozos caught me pirating in Kansas, and challenged me to some weird crazy duel with them. They nearly got me good, but I was saved by an ION storm in the system. Had another go with that guy they sent after me because nobody scratches my hull and gets away with it. They let me go after I beat up that punk.

My promised backup in Kansas didn't show, I wouldn't trust the local pirates here. Be warned.

Well...

Had an interesting chat with a Bundschuh pilot. No idea how he found me, since I kinda just fell asleep and drifted into an asteroid field, and was just looking for a way out. Said pilot was flying a Wraith-class military ship, which they apparently have blueprints to build them with. He was also using some classified weaponry that I couldn't get proper scans of. Interesting. Had a nice little chat, about Rheinland, before he started questioning my presence. I politely hinted to him that it was none of his business, but nowadays, so many people ask that question demanding a candid reply. Getting annoying, really. Anyway, I noticed a Corsair pilot locked up in his cargo hold. Wouldn't be too right if I let one of our newfound allies get thrown into some prison run by dirty criminal politician dogs. I quickly took a Bundschuh rookie hostage and used him as leverage for the Corsair pilot, which he accepted, to my surprise.

Afterwards, he seemed to have gotten the hint that the Corsairs were our allies, and requested for me to leave. Well, it seemed too unreasonable a request to fulfil, and so I bluntly told him so. In the meantime, he alerted me to a Red Hessian pilot locked up in my cargo hold, which I totally forgot about, and demanded me to hand him over. That kind of alerted me to the fact that I was actually at an advantage, since I could keep the pilot hostage, and try to make a getaway. Lucky me.

Unfortunately, he used his head and realised the pilot was dead anyway. Silly of me to let him know that. I was about to dump the Hessian into space and shoot the bugger, but since he was going to fight me anyway, I kept the pilot in my hold, to sell off to the Corsairs, after I was done smoking the Bundschuh's ship.

Needless to say, I did just that, so it was a rather profitable encounter, to have rescued the Corsair and sell off the Hessian.

That said, we have to be careful with the Bundschuh. It seems like they are in control of military grade technology and classified weaponry, which could be dangerous to our raids in Rheinland. There's no telling what else they might have. Stay frosty out there.
