Preferably however don't shoot tradelane guns.
I've shot at them a few time, but never seriously. Can you actually knock the tradelane turrets off the tradelanes?

But you can knock them offline, for a short period...just the same as stations.

Ok guys, if when pirating, you shoot out the tradelane, then take it's guns off line as well ...
You will cause the player being pirated to crash to desktop when they dock the next base, and yourself if
you pass through the lane as well.
Please don't do it in future, it is causing problems for other players, and not normally the pirate.
It will be fixed as best we can in the future ... Till then, please do not shoot the tradelane guns.
All we are asking ...

What about base turrets? If a base turret gets shut down and someone docks, will there be any adverse affects later on?

Good to know everytime i use my pirate character ,i shoot the lane and the turrets too,i will stop that now.

So that's why I keep getting CTD. I never realized the connection between me and getting pirated and then crashing when I docked until now. I just though I had horrible luck.

So taking out the trade lane ring is fine but sub targeting and taking out the guns on the trade lane ring is bad, got it.
