This is Captain Michael Hughes of the Silverstar and this is the report of the Maiden Voyage of the Silverstar Passenger-Class Liner. First of all I have great news for the heartquarter and the entirety of Sirius! The Silverstar is working as intended and the Maiden Voyage went more than flawless. As ordered, we picked up Socialities from Planet Manhatten, New York System, and went on our way to Planet New Berlin, New Berlin System in Rheinland. Altough I have to say some of the passengers were special, none of them has shown an intend to make trouble onboard. Here is a short, recorded conversation with one of them at a table on the ship's restaurant. Unkown Passenger: So, you are the captain of this Ship, eh ?! Michael: I am indeed, Sir. May I ask for your name ? Unkown Passenger: Eh I guessed as much! My name is Paul Jefferson, and I am 29, an artist and I quite frankly adore this ship! Say, do you need some personel for entertainment ?! Michael: I am sorry Paul, but we are currently having enough people onboard and are not in need of more personeel. Paul: Are you sure man ?! I would do it for free! Well, as long as I can live on the ship and eat here. Michael: As I said sir, we currently can't afford to accept new personel into our ranks. Now, if you may excuse me, I will finish this meal and go back into the cockpit. We need to start the engines soon, our destination is a few systems away after all. After we discussed matters on board, the Silverstar then went on to fly from Planet Manhatten. We had a few delays at the start, but we got them worked out rather quickly. Destination was set to Planet New Berlin, the best Route was calculated and we took off from Planet Manhatten. Pictures of our beautiful sight will be uploaded to the Neural-Net as we finish this report.
As you can see, everything on the trip went well and in the end the crew and I were able to deliver all the Socialities safely.
![]() Delivery of all the Socialities on board to Planet New Berlin, as ordered. Currently we are waiting on the Planet in New Berlin, and as the crew is resting in their quarters, I personally decided to take measures into my own hands and ordered 2925 tonnes of Rheinbeer. We will take off as soon as the coordinates are set for Planet Manhatten. The crew will return to their stations as soon as they are done recovering. We hope that we can get an escort or two, as police has informed us that pirates are currently plaguing the Rheinland-space as well as the Liberty-space. This is Captain Michael Hughes of the Silverstar, uploading a report of the progress made today. First of all, I have great news again. We had no trouble on both trips today either. As before, the Socalites we carried were quite interesting, but none of them has shown any intention to make trouble onboard. I have to admit, they really have some weird stuff with them when they travel, but I guess you can't change that, as it probably is needed for their individual jobs. Unlike yesterday, we sadly had no time to record the conversations onboard. Furthermore, the beer we got from Planet New Berlin smelled splendid. We made sure that the people of Planet Manhatten only get the best beer there is, as they are willing to pay a whole lot more for it around this season. Thus, I would love to announce that we have sucessfully delivered 5850 tonnes of beer for the Libertonian people! Another great new's is that our Radio Operator just turned 52. To celebrate this, we took some time off on Planet New Berlin and drank a few Rheinbeer's and ate some of the best Schnitzel we were ever able to get a hold off. As I am filing in this report, the crew is still celebrating the Birthday of Richard, and it seems like there is no end for the party in sight. I am afraid to report this, but we might not be able to take off in time for once. As I see the fault within my planning, I am ready for any kind of punishment that the company is going to decide on. The Radio-Operator-Silverstar Wrote:::|The Radio-Operators Name: Richard Peters Here is evidence of the Silverstar making two extra trips from Planet Manhatten to Planet New Berlin, where we are currently stationed once more.
As you can hopefully clearly see, we also made quite some money on the trips. The Silverstar is a fine ship, but it also is a very small one. If we keep attending the current Buisnessmodel, then I am afraid but the Silverstar is probably not the right ship to use for Long-Range-Travels between 2 houses. Expect a formal request for an L-584 "Enterprise" Luxury Liner in the next days. The Silverstar will be under the command of myself and my crew until further notice. This is Captain Michael Hughes, Captain of the Silverstar for yet another progression Log. As mentioned yesterday, the Silverstar has taken off slightly delayed today. We were one hour late, but we managed to finish the trip that we were told to fly regardless. Today, we had no trouble during the flight either. The Socalites were nice this time, though! It seems like the ones we flew to Rheinland are quite different to the ones that wanted to fly to Kusari or Bretonia. On our way, we had the chance to get to know some of them, but as we were told we will not record any more conversations between Staff and the passengers, due to their rights onboard and in Libertonian space. On our travels to Kusari and Bretonia, I allowed to Crew to take some time off and take a look at the, to them, unknown systems. I have to say, they were stunned every time we entered a new system, bubt the Crew seems to have enjoyed the flight to Kusari more. I definetly understand them, Kusari has some of the most beautiful sight's that we were able to visist so far. The crew and I have agreed that we will do a trip or two more to Kusari after we have finished our scheduled Deliveries. We made quite a lot of profit as the passengers seem to be willing to pay a bit more these days, and also the Liquor-prices on Planet Manhatten are still higher than usual. As time goes on, we will be able to send the 100Million Sirius Credits aswell as the Silverstar to a nearby shipyard in the New York system, if we get the opportunity to get a hold on one of the newer L-584 "Enterprise" Luxury Liner's of the Orbital Spa & Cruise fleet. Following now are pictures of our travel route as well as evidence of the delivered goods.
As the pictures might imply, we are currently on Planet New London to plan further trips to Kusari, Bretonia and Rheinland. As for our duty as an Orbital Spa & Cruise ship, I think it is fair to say that the Silverstar has done some work in the past days and the crew is getting a bit tired. As I file in this report, they are sleeping in a hotel on Planet New London, and I hope they will make it up in time for our next trip. As a present for the headquarters, I will provide you with pictures of every system that we have visisted for the first time in the Silverstar.

While writing the report, he was reminded that the Silverstar is most likely going to fly long range routes from now on and thus asks for an immedidiate change of the ship. Initiating upload for the 'Special Request' to the Neural Net....60%....80%....100%...Upload complete! Dear sir or Madam of the main company, This is Michael Hughes, currently captain of the Passenger Liner Silverstar. As I have mentioned in a report earlier, this is a formal request for an L-584 "Enterprise" Luxury Liner. The reasons for this request are as following: -- The ship is not suited for long-range travels -- The ship's maximum cargo is too little to make it effecient to use for the carriage of Cargo -- The ship is not armed enough to ensure a safe flight into the Omega and Sigma systems -- The ship has some issues with the docking-computer and will need to be repaired To summarize, the ship all in all is not usable for our next tasks. We have docked the Liner on one of the drydocks of the Baltimore Shipyard, New York System. The money for the process of requesting a new ship as well as the salary for the crew and the costs to keep the ship intact will be sent to the company with the Silverstar. In the attachments I will provide evidence of the docked Silverstar on the drydock. ::|Attachments:
Michael Hughes, captain of the Silverstar Having written the formal request, Michael is now waiting on Baltimore Shipyard for a response of the company, hoping that the request will be accepted. Tired of the past days, and to prepare for the meeting with Professor Nerva Regis, he decides to turn off the lights and goes to bed. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Chief Executive Officer of the current Orbital Spa and Cruise; everything important gets to me such as requests like yours. I am glad you called us regarding your issue with one of our older Passenger Liners. Before we handle you our new type of liners, The Luxury Liners, I would like to know more about your said goals. I am not trying to be annoying for you, yet our Liners are crafted with love and devotion and thus. throwing them away at anyone requesting one without knowing who the person is...well, it is not my type. I am expecting to hear from you soon. -CEO Harry Jackson RE: The Silverstar (//Invitation Based) - Lucas - 02-10-2018 ::|INCOMING TRANSMISSION|:: ::|Sender ID: Michael Hughes, Captain of the Silverstar ![]() ::|Recipient ID: Harry Jackson ::|Transmission Type: Audio-feed ::|Topic: L-584 "Enterprise" Luxury Liner ::|Encryption: Civilian Encryption ::|Ecryption Level: Medium Dear Mister Jackson,
First of all I want to apologize for my long absence. We, as a crew, had to decide on where to go with this, and in the end we concluded that it would be best to send this a bit later than expected. We, or to be more precise I, believe that our current Liner is not going to be enough to fulfill the important role for our next plans because of the limited Cargo-Space and the high costs of the Liner for long-range travels. As we have intended before, we believe that working together with the Omicron Orphant Initiative is a good way for us, and for the company as a whole, to get input about other parts of Sirius that we have not been to alot before, as well as a better view on our company around Sirius, and perhaps even Gallia. To clarify this beforehand, we have already had a meeting with the leader of the Initiative at Planet Gran Canaria and we got a chance to observe the progress that has been made by the Initiative, as well as the current situation as a whole. I believe that they are worthy of being supplied with any goods that are required to keep the poor people alive and potencially establish a better life for them. We have taken pictures of our meeting with Professor Regis, as well as the general sight in Omega-49. We have had no trouble getting there, except for problems with the actual ship itself. I believe that, regardless of it's age, it is more fitting to be a Liner for In-House travels. We have already provided you with the main problems that the current Silverstar will have if we decide to actively support the Initiative. In best Regards, Michael Hughes. ::|Attachments: |
