Victory For the ALLIANCE! - Angel - 09-25-2005
Forces of the Alliance and the Coalition Fought a Feirce battle in the Omicron Theta Sector Today north of Freeport 9, Takeing heavy Losses, the Alliance, lead by Lancer was able to Hold off the Coalitions Battlegroup. Congradulations to the Alliance for the Victory.

I would also like to extend my congratulations to the Alliance and the Coallition on a battle well played. Everybody played by the rules and a fair outcome was the result. I would also like to say a big thank you to Korrd who turned up even though he was the only Coalition member online (if anyone was wondering we made a team for the coalition using alliance members).
Again, a great fight everyone, we should all be proud!

Oh I just thought I'd post the rules that we decide on before the battle so that people can discuss them and we can have some rules set in stone before the next battle.
1. Each player is only allowed one global respawn, not a respawn for every character they have.
2. There is no use of shield batteries or nano bots, this allows the fight to progress much quicker.
3. Teams should always be evenly matched, uneven battles are no fun and considering the lack of coalition members that turn up, it is much better to give everybody an even, fair chance.
So post up your ideas, or just agree, but either way I look forward to hearing from you.

It was a good battle indeed. I must thank Korrd for showing up, too bad that he was the only one defending the Coallition interrests. Well, 'till the next battle!!

I'll try to add some pics from the battle- they r low-res 640:480 jpg. 8-bit and are around 80kb. The original ones are 1280:960 bmp 24-bit and are around 3,5MB(right out of the game screen as i see it there).
The first pic is before right before the collusion-I'm on coalition here.

The second pic i am chasing Lancer-my buddy and comrade, in the heat of the battle.

The third pic is before the last stage of the battle, when im am back in the Alliance on the wing of Lancer.The second stage was crucial for the end of the battle. We were two on two - Lancer and me vs. Korrd and Warmaker. Lancer with Rheiland bs and i with my Lib cruser, against Korrd in his Kusari bs and Warmaker with his Rheiland cruser.

I was dissapointed because no Coallition members came this saturday to fight against the alliance. Next time i hope AT LEAST 2 or 3 more C's folks came to battle.
We may have lost the battle, but it was a cool fight. I'd like to thanks everybody for coming, and also for splitting in two, so the battle wasnt a 7 to 1... :lol:
