Admiral.

Whoever she is, she's as blunt as a hammer, sharp as a pin. That's obvious in the first few seconds.

It's an honour to serve with you. Your escape from the Alaska system rewrote the book on fleet management.

I've been assigned fleet primary for Bering defence operations; the title's honorary - I'll be your Unioner point of contact from here on out. I will not defend our peoples by sitting on my arse. I attack.

I need an audience with you, vessel-to-vessel, between our ships. Off the neuralnet, if you don't mind. Logs can be handed to the politicians later. Survival is a military matter.

She's wearing the grave face of command. There's no rage in the tension, but belief. A necessity of conviction.

Posterity is going to have to wait, Admiral. I’ve received word that the Legion opened up on a Unioner deep recon patrol. In full company and assistance of the Liberty Securty Force’s Agency 404 and the Kusarian Kempetai against Libertonian national security. Logical assumption is that HF is pulling strings with the Libertonian and Kusarian goverments in return for concessions by picking us apart, or the whole crises is the work of foreign and domestic federal spies who stand to lose trade revenue from the Union and the Separatists. This is shortly after a refusal of Unioner offers to assist the Legion against Gallic Royal Intelligence officers scanning your stations in the Bering system, but that's a matter unrelated to the comm.

I’m not here to tell you what to make of this. Play your own board. Nobody steers your rudder but you. Make your own choice if you want to work with these bastards, the Kaiserflotte will back you whatever you choose to do.

These are the same men who shot you once and are now arm in arm with the LSF and foreign spies behind your back. Don't trust the Legion. We tried for your sake, this is what became of us. They will stab you in the back just as they've stabbed us, stabbed the Hackers. Don't wait till they stab you, too.

Full context to the engagement will be given in an open by the politicans. I'll give you the short version; the Legion shot our pilots in Bering in company with the Xenos. We did not fire back, even under loss of of our craft. They then rejected help from our boys against the Gallic Royal Intelligence Service. A demilitarised GEIST mission scrambled immediately after to track the patrols back to Kansas. No guns were intended to be fired. The above transmission occurred after two foreign intelligence operatives pinged our position to Legion pilots at the edge of Texan/Kansas space.

The Legion is not your friend, Admiral. If they're prepared to co-opt infected deep state operatives and foreign intelligence apparatuses into their operations, you know they're no friend of your agenda. I'm not forcing your hand. Make your own move.

Whatever happens now is in the hands of God.
