I'm starting a temporary character. (I can haz play time for the next 2 weeks or so).
'Rollin a new one' as a wise friend put it.
I am unashamedly a Cap lover. With my lag, NPC's toast and butter me on both sides... so anything smaller than a Cruiser is merely frustration with peanut butter and anchovy toppings!
So aaaanyway.
I bin wanting to fly the ever useless and ungainly Huntress ever since I joined Disco. She's reaal perty on the eye and to be honest I 'm about as interested in her PvP capabilities as I would be in chewing glass.
The questions that I have are as follows:
Am I doomed to stalk the dangerous reaches of the outer worlds in such a ship as either Order or Corsair?
What possible reason could a Huntress have to be near the more populated Liberty areas?
As with One Eyed Eddie, I enjoy parking somewhere, picking off NPC's, yapping semi comedically with anything and anyone who happens to cross my path.
Maybe a religious nut somewhere in Alaska slaughtering Nomads, running like hell when he sees LN... Not quite sure.
I don't want to step on any RP toes and by now I am sure most of you know that my intentions are completely non pwnzor pvp related.
As usual I would appreciate any wise advice and input.

I took down a hunters solo with a rogue GB, its easy, you DONT want a huntress.
If you want a ship that flees easy, you need a zoner dessie.
And its perfect for RP as well.

In almost one year of Disco, I think I might have killed one player in PvP.
It's the RP experience I am after, the PvP stuff I leave to the masters of Ping.

I'd say wait to 4.85, get a zoner gunboat, do some low end trading with it and maybe some mercenary/freelancer work.

I think the sigh comes from the fact he was after advice/thoughts on the use of a Huntress outside of the edge-worlds.
Personally I've no idea I'm afraid. I haven't anything bigger than a GB. I'm a sultan of ping, after all!
Edit: Ooooo, 999 posts. I'm gonna have to make my next one a good one. Hmmmmm. *thinks*
