Accidental firing on player owned Base in Alberta - Irishacana - 03-15-2018

Hey everyone, Thomas_Walsh is an employee of DSE and was mining platinum in the Alberta system. Tonight as he was mining platinum in his company issued Hegemon a Liberty Rogue crashed into him causing him to accidentally fire upon a local player owned base named Brown’s Port Platinum. Now whenever he enters the mining field this base fires upon him as it is considered “hostile” and worse he can no longer visit this base where he used to be able to sell surplus platinum!

My question is: if you accidentally fire upon a player owned base with your mining lasers, will this base be considered hostile forever or does this reset after a while? How does one go about changing your “reputation” with player owned bases from hostile back to neutral or friendly when accidents like this occur?

Resets after a server restart.

Perfect is that what happens every night when I get a message about ion storms or something like that approaching?

So tomorrow I should be able to dock and mine there in peace in other words? Thank you!
