First landing in SC, woot - Tenacity - 04-01-2018 Probably nothing to get excited about but I havent played star citizen since 2.6, way before they had procedural planets and planetary landing. Now in 3.1, they've got 3 planets you can land on and explore, though the lag and glitchiness and server crashes make it pretty difficult to effectively do much of anything. This was my second attempt at landing, the first time I had a server crash partway through, but it's definitely satisfying being on the ground finally. Now if only they'd let me start using that mining laser on the front of my ship: ![]() Image resized. However it is designed by the same company that builds the freelancer, so it has very similar appearance/shapes/style. Here's the prospector: ![]() And here's the freelancer: ![]() Very similar, but they're both MISC ships so they share design traits. The prospector is a 1 man ship with a small cabin and no actual cargo capacity. It can store ore that it mines using that frontal laser emitter in the four "saddle bags" on the sides of the ship, and then unload those when it's selling the ore. The freelancer on the other hand is a 4 man cargo ship with 4 bunks and a crew cabin, it's larger than the prospector, and it has a cargo bay that takes up half the ship length.
