Why people leave DiscoveryGC
My base got destroyed about an hour ago. I got home from work, checked the forums, found an attack declaration: Yesterday, 11:44 AM.
The ONLY RP came in a very vague format at: Yesterday, 11:42 AM.
2 minutes that is the only time that Kosa put into RP. This whole episode happened when I was sleeping or at work.
I saw the declaration, logged on with a ship and found base destroyed.
2 minutes it took for Kosa to do any RP.
It does not matter, he just wanted to destroy the base. It did not matter that it was sanctioned by Bretonia, that others correctly RP'd with the Dublin Miners Pub and it proved to be fun. Kosa wasn't interested.
As soon as the time was up, Kosa decided, with 2 minutes of Roleplay, to destroy the base.
That is the behaviour that causes people to leave DiscoveryGC.

POBs were a mistake to begin with
You really shouldn't invest your entire stake in the game in a single unshielded core1 POB. Its a RP server. Come for the RP, stay for the RP. If a stupid base is the only thing keeping you here, then I dont know what to tell ya.
Whats funny is that you didn't used to have to have any forum RP or declaration thread at all for Core1 bases. It was a much better time when there weren't 50 of the things in every single system, and at least 3 allocated to and inside of each mining field.
