Not an official Order faction as far as I know, only heard of them from someone who saw one online, and unless I'm mistaken, they have no forum presence.

From what I understood, the Jade Squadron is rather elusive. Personally I think one never knows when they might show up again. Maybe they're laying low when noone needs them?

Much as I have heard whispers of the Jade Squadron, I have never seen any of their members/pilots. You say you were recruited, yet if you have recieved no contact from your superiors, mabey the Bounty Hunter SCUM got to them. For that reason, I agree with Unselie, the 42nd are definately alot more punctual, and can perhaps offer better protection against whatever demise befell your superior Jade Squadron members.
