Past days - Mr.Mike. - 05-13-2018 May, 13. 825 A.S. Michael stood by the table, he had an electronic journal in his hands, where he entered some corrections, reread and re-entered the information. That was there - valuable information about the counter-attack aimed at the Gallic Royal Navy. Michael never thought that he planned all this, he expected that in a couple of years the war would end, he remembered at what price the war between Liberty and Rheiland ended: millions of dead only because of the desire to "know the truth." But there was Gallia, who had their motives for the war, which will not ask you who you are and from where and how old are you: one shot and it's over... Now Liberty was in a difficult situation: the separatists, who are trying to "open their eyes" to everyone else, pirates who, feeling free to act because of the war with Gallia, began actively raiding stations and trading lines, Unioners, who came from Rheiland and are trying make war with Rheiland and Liberty again. Michael still could not come into his head: how could the Unioners get 2 Bismark battleships? If in Liberty the mood of the revolutionaries was supported by democracy, then Rheiland was quite different - from the words of his colleague, Lion Ferdinand, Rheiland is a strict and disciplined house of Sirius, where any word about revolution will end with death, and the attempt to start a revolution is even greater number of deaths. But at the moment, Michael was not interested in what is happening in Rheiland. His main task was to draw up a plan. Every detail is important, any error can lead to huge losses and the most terrible consequences. "Who if not us?" - flashed some very old phrase in the head of Michael. And really - "Who, if not we, will fight the Gallic invaders?" After reading the plan, Michael put on a form for negotiations. One of those was today's meeting in the Coronado system. Just there will be a discussion of the plan. The negotiations were agreed by the Cratyer Republic, 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, 3rd Liberty Navy Fleet and the Bretonia Armed Forces. Each side exhibited its person for negotiations. Thus, in the sixth fleet, Michael Blackburn and Karen Mcintosh played the role of diplomats. Michael drafted the plan, and Karen - all the nuances of performing logistics tasks in the plan. To be brief, the plan consisted of the following stages: 1. Preparation. 2. The offensive. 3. Victory and peace offer. The plan itself consisted of many points, which were the components of these stages. After reading the plan again, already in the form for negotiations, Michael took an electronic journal and headed for the exit. The door has open, Karen, Barney and Albert were standing in the doorway. Karen, in her uniform as a diplomat, looked beautiful. Barney and Albert were in military uniform, which was quite consistent with the logic: they were not present at the negotiations. Alas, but the Crayter Republic allows to launch into the Coronado system only ships, no more gunboats. This explained the presence of Albert here: he was the captain of the gunboat "New Oregon", on which Michael flew in the direction of Coronado. Michael gave Barney electronic journal and slightly spread his hands: "Well, how do I look?" - He asked. "If it's for a diplomat, it's too harsh," - Barney replied. Karen grinned. - "No, well, seriously: you do not get such a form, I'm used to seeing you as сaptain of Hampshire, not as politics." "Well, what to do..." - Michael drawled. - "If everything was so simple, I would send Karen to the negotiations." "However, I'm right here, I could do it myself," - Karen said. "No, I must participate in these negotiations," - Michael replied and took the electronic journal from Barney. - "Karen, can you check out my appearance?" "Well, for the negotiations, you look very good, Admiral..." "If to be honest..?" "Barney was right - you are too harsh in this outfit." "Allright, let's go," - Michael said. A group of 4 people went to the command deck of the gunboat. The entire fleet for negotiations was the following: 2 gunboats, 2 fighters, 2 bombers. Namely: "Fire Dragon", "New Oregon", Alpha-1, Alpha-3, Beta-1 and Epsilon-3. The composition was assembled so that in the event of an attack the entire group had the opportunity to inflict maximum damage, as well as not get under fire due to the speed and maneuverability parameters of all the ships in the composition. The whole group was 10 minutes from the hyper-gates to the Cortez system. Now they were near the Riverside station and discussed the details of the plan before proceeding. Approaching the bridge, Karen and Michael had a heated conversation and actively discussed the plan: "So, the training was discussed," - Michael said. - "I mean military exercises. As for logistics, this is your business. Tell me, it's not too late." "We'll figure it out on the spot, I think," - Karen said. - "All the same, some details will have to change over time." "N-yes, you are right," - Michael replied. - "Okay, let's go..." At the wheelchair the captain's assistant, Ilon, commanded: "Admiral on the bridge!" - All instantly jumped from their seats and aligned, waiting for orders. "Sit down," - Michael said. After everyone again returned for their seats, he continued: "So, gentlemen, as you already know, we are not just gathered together, we have a goal - to launch a counter-attack against Gallic Royal Navy. From all our actions, the future may depend Liberty: If it works out, Liberty will victory Gallia, and if the plan fails miserably, Gallia will just crush Liberty. I believe that no one here wants to be a slave, you've all been faithful to the fleet until the end, I've never heard that one of the Sixth Fleet should think about starting a revolution against the government and and even worse - go to the separatists... As you know, betrayal is the most disgusting trait of a man, and I will not tolerate it in the Navy. In simple words..." - here Michael thought, but immediately picked himself up and continued: "...who if not us?" "Nobody," - said Albert for all. "It is," - Barney picked up. - "If we will die, Admiral, then with music." "I hope that no one has any questions?" - Michael asked. Having received a general answer: "No, Admiral!", He continued: "So, the negotiations will consist of arriving at Coronado, discussing all the details on the neutral ship, and only then returning to Liberty. a neutral ship will disconnect all means of communication, there will be a vote for a plan that seems more viable against Gallia, not for Bretonia, Liberty or Сrayter. Karen and I will be present at the negotiations. We have built in special sensors that show the pulse," - with these words, Michael tapped his middle finger across the glass of the panel, which depicted his body and his condition at the moment: a pulse of about 90-95 beats per minute. - "If the pulse becomes zero, then you can fire on a neutral ship without an order." - Michael took off the bracelet that counted his pulse: the glass turned red, the appropriate signal sounded. Then he put the bracelet on again: the glass turned green again. - "If suddenly I or Karen want to remove the bracelets, then we will have special alarm buttons that will notify you about it." - Michael pressed the yellow button and took off the bracelet. The screen no longer glowed red, but took on a white tint: the pulse readings stopped, the figure stayed on 92 strokes. Wearing the bracelet again, Michael pressed the button again: the data began to be tracked again. - "Please note that if we press the button, then you do not need to open fire. Wait for a red signal from me or Karen: only then you have every right... To kill us. After the negotiations, we will return aboard the gunboat, as I said, and then back to Liberty. That's all, you can go back to work." Such distrust of negotiations was strained by the crew. In fact: what could Liberty's allies do with the navy admiral who is actively fighting against Gallia. Michael also asked himself such a question, but Liberty was mired in riots, attempts at revolution and betrayal: that's what made him resort to precautionary measures. The only one whom he trusted in these negotiations was Victor Steiner, an officer of the Breton Forces, with whom Michael had conducted more than one battle against Gaul. Nevertheless, the Sixth Fleet never yielded to the propaganda of the separatists, so the word "betrayal" for people in the fleet was not familiar. Correcting the shape of Karen, Michael commanded: "Start moving to the Cortez Jump Gates!" "There are! "Fire Dragon", Alpha-1, Alpha-3, Beta-1 and Epsilon-3 - given the green light, we can start!" - said Albert on the radio. "This is Alpha-1, for the launch in Coronado is ready!" "This is Epsilon 3, wait... Yes, everything is ready, waiting for orders. Reception!" "This is Beta-1, the weapon is loaded and ready." "Says Alpha-3, I'm ready! Receive!" "This is "Fire Dragon", the sixth fleet! Crew is ready, the weapons are loaded, the shields are raised, and we are ready to move. Reception!" "All the ships are ready, Admiral," - Albert reported. - "Confirm the start of the departure?" "Yes, I confirm, we begin," - Michael ordered. "Yes, to all the ships, the green light is confirmed. I repeat - the green light is confirmed! Line up in the formation, prepare for departure!" - With the gunboat "New Oregon" the "Fire Dragon" came in front of them, Alpha-1 and Alpha-3 stood before them, and behind them were Beta-1 and Epsilon-3. All the ships were located in such a construction, so as not to interfere with each other, if suddenly it is required to open fire. "The formation is built, we are ready!" - reported the "Fire Dragon". "Then forward to the Cortez system," - Albert ordered. "Aha, we start moving..." The flight was about 10 minutes. Trading lines were clean from pirates, which only accelerated the movement of the group. Near the gate only military patrol ships flew. "Big hello to the Sixth Fleet!" - someone said on the radio. "And you have a good time of day, gentlemen," - answered Albert. - "We are moving to the patrol in the Cortez system, we need permission to open the gates. Reception!" "Permission is granted. Note that there is an increase in the activity of the Gallic troops in Cortez, the same situation is in Magellan. Be careful!" "Yes, we will keep in mind, thanks! End of communication!" - With these words, Albert switched to the frequency of the fleet: "I begin the process of opening the hyper-gate to Cortez, I enter the code..." - The huge gate began to open. On the back there was a glow, which only intensified - it opened a hyper-transition to the Cortez system. A huge corridor of hyper-transition began to appear, illuminating the dark space with light... "The gate is open," - Albert reported. - "We are ready to jump, sir." "Great," - Michael said. - "Start moving to Cortez." "Aha..." - Albert stretched out and sent the gunboat straight to the crossing. - "Before the move left: 5... 4... 3... 2... 1... We start the transition!" - The gunboat entered the passage, its speed increased in millions. The ship was in the tunnel of hyper-junction. - "Attention, we leave the hyper-speed after 3... 2... 1..." - A bright flash lit up the command deck of the ship. "New Oregon" made the transition to the Cortez system. Two more fighters, two bombers and one gunboat appeared behind him. "This is Alpha-1, in the Cortez system, waiting for orders! Reception!" "This is Alpha-3, the leap to the Cortez system was successfully accomplished. Reception!" "This "Fire Dragon", the sixth fleet. We have successfully made the jump, waiting for your orders, Oregon." "This is Beta-1, the leap to Cortez was successfully carried out." We are waiting for your orders. Reception!" "This is Epsilon-3, I report: the leap into the Cortez system has been successfully carried out, the means of communication with the allied ships are in place. Waiting for orders. Reception!" "To all the ships:" - said Michael, - "start moving to Curacao planet. They will be waiting for us there." "It is accepted! The wings Alpha, Beta and Epsilon - go into the formation, start moving to the planet," - ordered the captain of the "Fire Dragon", Anna Gibson. The ships got into the formation and started moving towards the trading line. Activating it, the joint movement to the planet began, which took about 20 seconds. Near the planet, Anna reported: "Admiral, unidentified targets in 5 kilometers!" "This is Crayter Military," - came the reply. - "We are pleased to see the sixth fleet in the negotiations. Please follow us to the Coronado system. Reception!" "Accepted, we begin the movement," - Michael replied, and then gave orders to his ships: "We're starting to follow the Crayter fighter." In the distance, there really was a Crayter Military fighter. Moreover - he was not alone, he was accompanied by 3 more bombers, who were waiting for orders. Blackburn knew that Crayter would not miss anyone in Coronado, so he knew that they would be escorted to Coronado. The flight was about an hour. In the distance, a bright glow appeared - a hole in the hyper-transition to the Coronado system. Bombers Kraytera made the jump first. The fighter reported: "The sixth fleet, this hole can quite miss the ships of your size." You can safely jump, I'll wait for you at the back end. Reception!" "Okay, let's jump," - Michael answered. - "Albert, direct." "Admitted, Admiral... Wow, this is risky." - answered Albert. "Spit on the risk, we're the sixth fleet," - joked Barney. - "Come on, nothing will happen to us." "As you say, all the ships - we start the jump to the Coronado system. Will go to hyper-space: 5... 4... 3... 2... 1... We start the transition!.." RE: Past days - Corpus13 - 05-13-2018 ![]() The glorious hull of LNS-Maine was standing in the drydocks of Norfolk. Apparently, the engineer who developed the ship had a good imagination, as for some unknown reason it looked like a cigarette. The gray metal of the plating was painted with blue and red stripes, as well, as with the emblem of the Epsilon wing. However, inside the ship differed even more strongly. The hangar for the fighters was expanded, and the cabins of the crew were distinguished by a simple and laconic, but at the same time luxurious style. Probably, because of this care, every member of the crew knew the captain of the ship in person. Karen really cared about ordinary soldiers and it easily explained her popularity for them. However, de-facto, but she wasn't the commanding officer of this ship herself. Near with her on a captain's bridge was always standing Adrian Williams, the experienced soldier, who got stuck in fighters wing, until he was found by Karen. Back to old days, this couple was used to have a lot of quarrels with each other about anything, like Karen could understand, that "Maine" will not fly without Adrian, and he could understand, that without Karen's intervention he would continue training recruits of Secondary Fleet in his fighter. Anyway, somehow, but they managed to move on. And now Williams found himself, standing on captain's bridge and looking at Norfolk Shipyard with... Fear and a kind of jealousy? Feelings new for him. He massaged his forehead with his hand and took out a flask of whiskey, taking a good sip. Amber liquid and the feeling of heat inside of him helped him to lean back in the captain's chair and breathe a sigh of relief. "Navigation officer, set Courtez, as the destination." - he gave order with a hoarse voice. After a couple of moments, he took out his communication device. "This is captain Williams of LNS-Maine. Vice-admiral, are you online?" A couple of interferences and nothing more. However, suddenly communication device has returned to live: "Adrian, may we live without these formalities? I know, that you wanted me to approach this neutral ship abord of Maine, but... You know... Admiral, like any soldier in general, is a hotheaded and may do a lot of... You've got me, haven't you?" - It was Karen. Adrian smiled slightly and answered: "Allright, Kare, we are good. And I've got you. Anyway, how is preparation for the meeting?" "Nothing special, being honest. Now I'm just walking around of New Oregon. An usual GB class. I already miss Maine." "Allright then! Soon you will return and things will be usual as always. Anyway, I will not interrupt you from preparations and stuff. See you soon!" - He said and waited for a moment to add: "Just try to stay safe out there..." He didn't wait for her answer and shut down a communication device. Maine was flying right to California jump gate on her usual speed. Adrian looked at his reflection in the mirror. He is relatively young and it's hard to say, that he was ever left without attention from women around. So why did he fall in love with Karen, who didn't seem to care about him in this term at all? No, she cared about every single soul aboard of the Maine, but, as it usually happens, he wanted to get more. And now, when Karen was somewhere far from this captain's bridge, Adrian realized, that it was fine for him. Indeed, only we can lose something, we start to appreciate it enough. The mighty ship his appeared in Cortez a couple of minutes later. Adrian took out a communication device and sai: "This is the commanding officer of LNS-Maine Adrian Williams to the captain of LNS-New Oregon. We came here by our own initiative, according to the state of Cortez system. It's dangeroud to pass through only with a couple of gunboats and snubs, so we will secure your safety here. We are well aware, that we aren't allowed to enter Coronado space, therefore we will stay near with jumphole to notify you about incoming enemy forces and delay them, before they will jump to your position. Williams is out." RE: Past days - Mr.Mike. - 05-13-2018 The dark space of the Coronado system was illuminated by a bright flash from the hole in the Cortez system: the negotiating team was in place. The fighter and 3 bombers stood right in front of the group. Of the whole group, only the fighter of Crayter Military spoke: "Well, that's it, welcome to the Coronado system! Follow us to the specified point of the meeting, and there we will expect all the other parties." Michael did not even have time to respond: at the same time he received a message. The one who spoke had a hoarse voice: "This is the commanding officer of LNS-Maine Adrian Williams to the captain of LNS-New Oregon. Williams is out." After these words, Michael was a little dumbfounded - he gave a specific order to nobody to get into the Cortez system without his permission (at the time of the talks). He understood whose ship it was - his gaze met Karen's gaze. Karen, of course, started: "I do not..." "I'll talk with you on this subject later," - said Michael. - "Albert, get in touch." "What are you waiting for, the Sixth Fleet? Flew!" "We have some kind of hitch, we'll start now, wait, please," - answered Albert. "Okay, as you say. We will send a message to all our ships so far that we have guests, and that our admiral, Michael Richard, starts preparing for the meeting. Once you have everything there is resolved - say, and we will fly." "Yes, sure," - answered Albert and turned to Michael: "Admiral, we can answer Maine." Michael took the radio and replied: "I gave the order - do not bother anyone in Cortez until the negotiations are over. Then explain that the cruiser of the Sixth Fleet has forgotten in this system?" "With all due respect, Admiral, the Gallic Royal Navy can get to Coronado, and you have nowhere to run. We will be your visiting card home in case of attack the Gallic forces. We are aware of what needs to be done, so do not worry." "Okay, hell with you - you have nowhere to put up. Stay where you are." "Accepted, Admiral!" "This New Oregon," - said Albert to Crayter Military Fighter. - "We solved our problems, are ready for movement." "Accepted, New Oregon," - hurriedly heard in response. - "Flew, before it's too late! I want to see how these negotiations end! All our ships are aware of your arrival, the sixth fleet. Admiral Richard is also aware, we are waiting for his ship to leave the shipyard and arrive at its destination..." RE: Past days - Spectre - 05-13-2018 Through from the California system a gunboat proceeded trough the gate, and the subsequent lane, to Curacao. The etched and worn out hull of the aging Forrest Sherman-class gunship glimmered in the light of the Cortez sun, her turrets showing signs of tear and degradation, but all still kept at peak condition. Leaving the trade lane, the vessel would be accompanied by a full squadron of Liberty fighters from the Yukon, a mix and match motley crew of a two Guardians, an Avenger and a small Liberator. "This Navy Patrol Gamma Sixteen to Liberty Naval Ship Turner Joy. We've got you on scanner. Forming up," the lead ship blared out, locking positions as the flight of five continued on behind the planet to the Coronado anomaly. "We're reading a low Royalist activity scan today, ma'am. Montana control was unable to locate any residual force from the incursion yesterday." "Good. Bring us in towards the anomaly. Proceed when ready." Upon the order, the ships proceeded through to the rendezvous, bringing up a position near the rest of the group, sitting in waiting. "This is Liberty Third Fleet vessel Turner Joy, Vice Admiral Michelle Collins speaking. We've arrived at the designated rendezvous point and are awaiting check in light for the other forces." RE: Past days - Victor Steiner - 05-17-2018 A guardian, flanked by two Templar's and shadowed by another two Hussar's arrived no long after the craytarian vessels. The Bretonian's maintained a strict radio silence until the Yukon hailed them. The patrol submitted all the required information, before the wing leader announced that one Commodore Edmund Steiner would be arriving for a conference with the 6th fleet. The Commodore is expected sir The wing commander told the radio operator He should be cleared already He's not on the list Commander, I'm afraid you'll have to wait while it is cleared With the escort pilots left with an uneasy feeling, Steiner demanded a message be sent to Admiral Michael Blackburn. In the meantime, they had no choice but to wait. RE: Past days - TheShooter36 - 05-17-2018 Aboard CFV-Aeacus, Coronado, 1720 Crayter Standard Time Michael Richard boarded the newly recomissioned Argus-Class Battlecruiser and moved to Captain Quarters before heading to the bridge. Instead of his usual getup of Phalanx Combat Armor, Purifier Mark III and his signature sidearm, "Jungle Phoenix". Instead, he wore his formal Fleet Admiral uniform today, put his sidearm on the belt and moved to the bridge. Just as he exited the room he heard his Communicator buzzing. "Sir, Admiral Blackburn and Sixth Fleet entered Coronado, a fighter squadron dispatched to escort them to meeting position. If you are ready, i will inform the Battlegroup Malachite to dispatch a Gunboat and the Fifteenth Squadron.". "No need for you to inform them. I already contacted Malachite CIC and arranged an escort team myself. I will let them know i am leaving Shipyard as soon as possible." He stumbled across ship's Captain, Zack Xander as he was getting out. "Ah, Captain, i was seeking you. Is the ship ready to depart?" "Yes, Admrtal, it is ready to depart." "Then what are we waiting for, Captain?" "Last flight checks and grilling of Crayter Kebabs, Sir. Chef angrily informed us that we should not mess with ship's power while he is grilling as it messes up the kebabs, Sir." "Damn chef, fine. Let's wait for kebabs, inform the chef i want extra kebabs for our guests, with sauce and all. Actually wait. I will do it myself." "Chef, i want extra kebabs that better be damn good grilled for our guests in the system. With sauce, and no, i dont care how you transport them ship to ship without messing with the sauce." He heard some muttering from the chef. "By the Thirteen Gods, cant you simply NOT drop the sauce before serving? We are capable of dropping the sauce after serving as well!" He heard more muttering and angry noises that agreed with him in the end. "Now that the kebabs are ready as well, we can move." "Right away, Sir." Captain Xander grabbed a Communicator as he and Admiral went to bridge. "Alright you nutjobs, Admiral wants the ship moved at once, so you better damn run the engines and get us out of Drydock!" He turned at Admiral Richard "Sir, we are in need of coordinates." "I will ask where they are right now, Captain." RE: Past days - Mr.Mike. - 05-18-2018 The group was already at the meeting point for a long time - it was a square D3 in the Coronado system. The shipyard Sabah could be seen in the orbite of Yuma planet. Because of its size, the light from the shipyard reflected so that it became like a bright white point on the surface of the planet. "Admiral, it's Maine. We have contact with the forces of Bretonia and the third fleet in the Cortez system. They are near battleship Yukon. Be prepared to meet the guests. Reception!" "Accepted, Maine. If they have contact with you, then let us know that the sixth fleet is already in the Coronado system, and we are waiting for them, as well." "I'm doing it. Maine out." "Admiral Blackburn, Admiral Michael Richard was notified. Crayter battlecruiser "Argus" is already beginning to leave the shipyard docks and is heading to the destination. Reception!" - The small, but brisk Crayter Fighter loomed near the gunboat "New Oregon". "Clear. We are waiting." - Michael's time stretched for an eternity. Hampshire is now under the control of the Captain Dreadnought "Justice" - in place of Blackburn staying James. Michael remembered how they met. Funny story: James made a mess in the bar, and Michael then passed by, he carried some documents. Michael tried to calm the drunk James, but instead he got himself into a fight. As a result, both were chastised and nearly ransacked. It was back in 820, when Michael did not even think about what would become the captain of Hampshire. He did not even think that today he will be one of those who decided to act against Gallia. But fate decreed otherwise. RE: Past days - Corpus13 - 05-20-2018 ![]() It was hard to say did Adrian care about Blackburn's words or didn't at all. His stubborn and headstrong nature was one of the many reasons, why he got stuck in the fighters wing of Secondary fleet. However, he pulled out his jar and took a big sip again. "A bit of liquid courage and go forth in the dark..." - Adrian whispered to himself and smiled slighty. For him it was a way too high risk to fly to Cortez without any heavy escort, therefore he didn't approve the order of Admiral in the first place. Anyway, he was ready to deal with any consequences. At the end, there were a lot of group, which needed a skilled captain, like he is. A couple of signatures has suddenly appeared on the long-range scanners. Adrian rubbed his forehead with his left arm and requested information about them. "The Third Fleet, Liberty-Navy-Identification, Alpha-Gamma-2. Estabilishing connection..." - a radio operator has reported - "The other signatures are... Bretonian Armed Forces, primary fleet, Theta-Delta-4. Connection with the Third Fleet ships was estabilished. Connecting to Bretonian Armed Forces ships... Got it! We are connected to both signatures. Radio operator is out." Clear execution of orders is the thing, that Adrian appreciated and couldn't find in himself. Luckly his radio operator was quiet and obedient fella who never asked senseless questions. "Captain of LNS-Maine Adrian Williams to the captain of LNS-Turner Joy. We are covering the entry point from possible Gallic threats. Please, proceed to Coronado to the destinated point, where you will meet the main group. Captain Williams is out." - said Adrian with his usual hoarse voice. Now the Bretonians, who decided to stay near with Yukon for some reason. "This is the captain of Liberty Siege Cruiser LNS-Maine to the Commodore Steiner of Bretonian Armed Forces. Our ship together with a couple of snub-craft class ships from Epsilon wing is covering the entry point to Coronado. Yukon has nothing to do with this meeting and the Admiral already gave us a clearance to let you jump into said system to reach destinated point. Pleace proceed to the jumphole and initiate proper protocols." RE: Past days - Spectre - 05-25-2018 "Acknowledged. Engines, bound. Proceed with docking protocols." The gunboat proceeded forth, the ship disappearing, bending and twisting through the anomalous wormhole to it's exit point in Coronado. There she turned on a dime, her escorts popping out soon after and forming up, and took up a stand near the rest of the ships lined up for the summit. "This is Vice Admiral Michelle Collins of the Liberty Naval Third Fleet. Officers, gentlemen. We'll await the time when we'll start." Turner Joy sat still in the void of space around Baja, weapons offline, no danger detected no expected. The hope was it would stay that way. RE: Past days - Victor Steiner - 05-25-2018 Steiner rolled his eyes, typical that everything had to be so complicated, Wing commander, we have a new flight path. Proceed to the Coronado Jump hole. The ships all flew in formation to the new destination before Jumping into the Coronado system. Maintaining a strict silence the patrol flew to the correct destination. Just before arriving, the commodore radioed ahead to Blackburn to let him know he had arrived. Admiral Blackburn, I feel the need to inform you that I and my wing have arrived and are willing to meet you on the deck, or some place else should you wish for a different location. I hope to see you soon. |
